History repeating itself over and over again. If this isn't turned around it will be very bad. Most people produce no food of their own and have no idea how. Third world people are better off in that respect, at least in rural areas.
Guess who is buying up tons of acres here in the U.S.-Gates, China, and these are only the ones brought to our attention.
Blackrock is buying up tons of real estate.
Yes, I forgot to include them. Thanks.
The people who are indifferent to this all are the ones that don't know where food comes from and think that vegetables and meat magically spawn at the grocery store. I mean, we already knew this when they didn't lift a finger for the truckers who move it all
Even though I live in a highly populated state, I was fortunate to grow up where there were still many small farms where I lived, so I knew where our food came from. Later generations wouldn't even be able to take a tour of a farm, because of the smell. Much easier to think it all comes from the supermarket, already packaged.
For the city folk, would you please elaborate on the smell comment? The difference between when you were young and now? Thanks.
It smells like animal poop on farms. City slickers immediately complain of it when the arrive at a farm.
Oh, lol. If that's what INK10 meant, that's not what I was thinking. I wondered if perhaps there had been a change in terms of the chemicals used on a farm that caused a change in the smell. Thanks.
really depends on the farm also, as plenty of farms actually smell way nicer than downtown San Francisco.
Lol.
Yeah. City Slickers prefer dog and human poop smells. Source: I work in NYC
I moved to Mississippi from FL back in the early 80s and thought "oh, now I'll be able to get lots of fresh farm produce", but it turned out that most of any agriculture in MS is for either growing corn for cattle feed, or just raising cattle. Now in NY, ironically, there are a LOT of small farms and fresh produce (and decent meats) sources.
same with Vermont, I really have no need for anything a supermarket sells except paper products and first aid stuff. Yeah, its a "blue state", but so what, people leave you alone, there are small farms to the left and right of me, and if the shtf, we are self sustainable. I would rather live here than some red state where the only place to shop is those enormous supermarkets (when I lived in Mo. a long time ago, I had never seen anything like it. ). NYC in the 50's still got most of their eggs and meats and grocery items from small farms. The agribusiness and factory farms are a horrible thing, all it does is keep large farmers in debt, bigger and bigger equipment, more and more loans to pay for it, government hand outs, growing corn to make ethanol and stuff pigs and sheep and cows with grains when they should be eating pasture and hay. Each state could be self sufficient if they stopped these big business contracts that have taken over farming. Surprisingly, the so called Blue State of Vermont also gets resistance from any government interference regarding small farms. But then, I am a person who would love to see us go back to that, each state encouraging small farms to produce what the people who live there need, and encourage trade with other states for things they cannot grow. I despise Agri-business
Wait, you mean to say life isn't like a video game?!??!?! (obvious sarcasm)
They're doing the exact same thing here in the US: forcing farmers to destroy crops and giving paltry subsidies for it. This in turn bankrupts the farmers who are forced to sell, which is then bought by entities like Black Rock, Vangaurd, or billionaires associated like Bill Gates. Those that don't comply or sell are harassed by 3-letter agencies; e.g Bundy Ranch in Nevada.
Criminal.
HOLODOMOR
Ninety plus percent of the population don't even know the word, much less what it was.
They were only taught holohoax in school, and that is all they ever hear coming out of their tube or on the big screen too. The message pounded home relentlessly is just another big lie by the same people perpetuating the big lies today.
The truth is so bad I am still fairly suicidal over it, I'm just glad all my grandparents have now passed on so they won't have to figure it out.
They sent our grandparents to go fight and die for nothing, I ran out of anger, I just want out of this place.
I didn't grow up hating any group of people, but WOW the Bolsheviks must have actually come from hell.
They went through Germany raping the women and forcing them to have mixed German/Bolshevik babies to try and wipe out the German bloodline, they were crucifying Christian German women in the streets.
American soldiers weren't told about this, our troops didn't see the Communist soldiers go through and do what they did, I think one source said up to 500,000 babies were born after from German women raped by Communist j--s, and we are taught in school they are innocent victims, and I'm TIRED OF IT.
It's insane isn't it. No other group has their history whitewashed so well. We need Christendom back. The Bolsheviks are literally satanic and the Church used to understand this and fight them tooth and nail.
They know, shut it down!
Or they get Federal subsidies to grow corn for ethanol production (and if you didn't know, more energy is consumed in producing a gallon of ethanol than it produces when burned) Another industry that wouldn't exist or be profitable at least, unless the Feds kept it going. The so-called "conservative" midwest Senators and Reps who don't push back on this are disgusting; all because they would lose their campaign funding and other lobbying perks from the farmers and others involved with ethanol.
They don't teach that in school or college. The teachers union has dumbed down our kids to the point of no return. They teach climate change and gender dysphoria. Most can't do simple math or geography.
When I lived in Germany we ate a lot of Dutch produce and dairy. It's the exports to the rest of Europe that will be cut off. First the fuel, now the food.
I had no idea that Stalin and Mao stole farms. Is that maybe why Gates was buying a lot farmland? At least, according to the reports I heard, he was paying for it. Paying for it doesn't make it better if it is going to be used to starve the population.
Look up the Holdomor.
Very interesting, a lot of information out there on this. It was, I believe, not taught in the schools when I attended. I graduated high school a long time ago--in the 60's. Thanks for the information.
