I agree. And most of the Christian churches (mine included) are all declaring that "we are living in the last days"! So their attitude is "it is written". A very sad and fatalistic way of thinking.
My pastor has made it clear that Satan is not omniscent and they may be trying to rush the "last days" to their end. We don't know if it's truly the prescribed end of time, but for me, that's always seemed scary and not a hopeful way to live, worrying about it and watching for every sign.
It's in God's timing and control. You're right- it is a fatalistic way of thinking and is also self-defeating. God doesn't want us to worry, but to pray without ceasing and let Him have it. Life's a lot better when we do!
I've mentioned this before. Far too many people today are walking by sight and not faith. They are failing to see the miracles God is performing right in front of them. We are not to tribulation yet, but those who are paying attention strictly to what they see are being fooled.
"Not by might, not by strength, but by My Spirit . . . " The churchs are divided, impotent and in the flesh (sadly)
"The Kingdom of God is Power, not words"
Everybody who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus for salvation needs to humble themselves, confess they are blind, and pray for Healing and that God raises up his end time prophets to unite the divisions
Amen to this!
Precisely. The world has always been full of evil and we are actually seeing more and more of it. God knows most of us don't partake in it.
I’d disagree only because of the Dark Ages. It’ll never get that bad.
Don't count on it...
You typically leave some of the most insightful and helpful comments I've read in this forum over the past couple of years. And this is one of your best -- TY for the redminder, and for the encouragement. :)
You have no idea what that means to me, friend. :) I know my sense of humor can trip me up and sometimes possibly ruin my witness, but I am glad to be an encourager.
God bless you.
def trying to rush things. So much unfulfilled prophecy.
According to Pope Benedict posthumously released letter. It is the days of Antichrist
1 John 2:18 (KJV) - Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. John the Apostle declared that in his day (1st century) that there were "many antichrists". John never said that in his future that there would come this evil world leader called "the antichrist".
That's why people need to stop pandering to the evangelicals. It's almost as bad as commies pandering to every demographic they come across.
They're poor workmen of the Word.
That's concerning. Faith in God and Christ, and adherence to the Church are different, imho. Church rules were written by people, who are not infallible or immune to misguidance or corruption. (In fact, they say Thoth, who was the Egyptian version of Baal/Moloch, was the god of priests and ritual, and taught humans the structure of Church dogma through the Emerald Tablets, the same source of occult for the Jewish cabal, something to ponder.) I have faith in God and the message of Christ, and Christ was a rebel who would not bow down to oppression. We need only look within ourselves to find the answer. Not saying religion is bad, just questioning the authority of various churches, and no offense is intended for those who attend.
Stop noticing things!
My Trump hating friend finally spoke about politics for the first time in like 3 years about Biden having classified info. Said something about locking them both up.
The tide is turning.
Yep
I’m not scared cause worse comes to worse I am dying a free man
I am not scared for myself as much as my loved ones. But in the end, he only thing I have control over is my reaction. And that's okay.
I AM ANGRY.
Americans are extremely concerned about the direction of the nation under President Joe Biden in 2023, according to a Sunday CBS News/YouGov poll. Seventy-one percent of Americans stated they feel either “scared” or “angry” about the direction of the country in 2023. Forty-nine percent said they feel “scared,” while 22 percent said they are “angry.” Only 11 percent said they were “excited” about it in 2023. Among the topics Americans specifically feel most pessimistic are about the cost of goods (70 percent), United States politics (70 percent), prospects for peace and stability in the world (63 percent), and the stock market (59 percent). Fifty-six percent of respondents said Biden’s economy is getting worse. Only 21 percent said it’s getting better. Source: breitbart.com
Angry? As in Homicidal rage, medieval torture, hangings and bringing back 'drawn and quartered", that type of angry?
Or the toast fell jelly-side down on the floor angry?
I'm thinking the first one.
71 you say... why do I immediately mirror that in my head ”17” patriots in control!

Angry mobs with flaming torches are the only language demented despots understand. It has always been this way throguhout history, and the time is coming soon, you will have to light up and join with your fellow "Americans".
By American I mean those who believe in the constitution; those who do not, and have worked to demolish it, are terrorists, our enemies, and need to be terminated.
That would seem to include members of the political establishment at every level in every state.
Remember what Q said:
June 4, 2020 "ONLY AT THE PRECIPICE [moment of destruction] WILL PEOPLE FIND THE WILL TO CHANGE"
I'm none of those. We are agoing to be very happy ,very happy!
I’ve always heard that ~30% would never wake up. Threshold reached!! It’s go time!
I don't know about 30%, but when Q said "4-6% forever lost," I thought that was a huge understatement. I'm thinking more like 15-20%, but not as high as 30%.
This is true even in fake blue state CT. People at my job are complaining, depression is up, anger rising, kids out of control in the public schools, and no one has enough money.
AND... they don’t trust the news or the jab bs!
Definitely angry. And our damn local is a microcosm of our fed.
Why not both? 🤣
The true percentage should be above the vote total the demented president thought he got in the 2020 election (above 81%).
They're scared and angry, but they haven't put it into words yet.
I think that's why Chat GPT is available now.

The issue is that there are people that, though they believe we are on the wrong course, also believe that we should go much further Left. It's boggles the mind how they can say it's wrong but want to go further.
Who really understands the financial system? Just what is the stock market? What is it used for? Why does it exist? Who created it?
But then they vote for more and more democrats even in my area of Indiana. One of my friends has run for office 3 times now for varying things, state senator, district representative, and school board. In 2022 he was so excited telling me things looked so good for Republicans because primary turnout and early voting was at an all time low and normally those indicators meant that the democrats weren't enthusiastic nor were they coming out to vote. But then he lost anyways. I feel like it's all the same HOPIUM posted over and over and over here on these forums too and how it really doesn't equate to reality.
Could it be election fraud?
I've never heard anyone that mention it in my area. We're just a solid blue shithole for 60 years because of our proximity to Chicago. And there are more city people transplants now than ever. We pay a financial premium to live here because of our proximity to the shit city.
Everything in my town where I live is priced to be in competition with Cook County as it is a border town. There are virtually no businesses I shop at in my own town because everything is priced to be "Cook County Lite" to encourage the idiots from Illinois to come over and buy stuff without giving them TOO big of a discount.
I still think the majority of Americans aren’t going to wake the f$ck up until they can’t buy a 12 pack of beer, bottle of wine, or get their $15 latte at Starbucks or be able to go to their fitness club. Or if they can’t log into their Peloton account… #Truth
