NEW GOVERNMENT FUNDED “FOOD-PYRAMID” SAYS LUCKY CHARMS ARE HEALTHIER THAN STEAK

The food pyramid is created by Big Agribusiness. They claim that grain and sugar is 'healthy' to eat. The meat industry does not really get a look in on the subject, as it consists of lots of 'small' local farmers and have been notorious to nationalize or even centralize, despite laws governing supposed 'health' restrictions. One can still buy a beast from a rancher or farmer and have it butchered locally - to the globalist dismay.
They have been at this for decades, starting with the demonization of fat. We were inundated with 'healthy' margarine, on the basis that it is made from polyunsaturated fats - so therefore 'heart healthy'. The big lie is that by bubbling hydrogen through that polyunsaturated oil to change the consistency, they are saturating that fat. In any case, butter melts at body temperature, while margarine does not. So be welcome to eat some plastic! I'll have butter thanks.
The idea that meat is inferior to big agri-grain is anathema to me, not only because I am allergic to most grains.
lol I clicked through and hot dogs have a 3/100 and I think I just found my new super food.
If ya like pink slime.
I wonder if I am too. I get bloated and constipated from certain foods. Especially refined sugars and carbs.
Giving them up is very liberating. Why put up with bloating and constipation? To please others? (Oh, you must try my cake - or is it a habit i.e. I cannot survive without chocolate chip cookies?). After a while, you'll find that stuff doesn't even taste nice.
Agreed. Just don't know what my body will allow. I suppose I could try the elimination thing?
I had to go fully in, after dabbling for decades wtih not eating one thing or the other, but my symptoms would not go away. So I went down to beef steak or mince only, and coffee. After three months I added pork and eggs. Then after another two months I added yoghurt.
These days, I can handle an avocado occasionally, and I have tried mushrooms without ill effect. But over Christmas I tried one non-alcoholic beer, and all the symptoms came back. So that's out.
That sort of issue does not go away in my experience. Do you get the odd joint pain or unexplainable rashes?
No joint pain or rashes
OK, It is just the next stage. But if you are happy with what you eat all good. I would try and eliminate the things that make you uncomfortable, though.
A question I've had since awakening: Is margaraine's price dampened down to steer people away from the healthier butter?
Like is butter actually a more costly product than the oil-slog?
I think it is cheaper to produce, especially the Canola (rapeseed) oil marg. did you know that margarine was originally designed as plant-based engine grease, as an alternative to mineral oil-based grease?
Makes me wonder, maybe Kale is actually bad for you since they promote it.
How the hell do we know what's true anymore.
Kale is very hard to digest. In the Netherlands we know that it cannot be consumed until a frost has settled on the crop - to break down the cellulose. In fact, my mother used to throw it in the freezer before cooking it and mixing it with potato - she would be horrified at people eating it raw!
But in general, all the cabbage family is pretty hard to digest.
Does that count for lettuce too?
lettuce was one of the only vegetables that I could still eat before I dived in, but everyone is diferent, and it was easy to give up after eating it nearly every day. I didn't miss it.
Asked because every time I go without salad, I get horribly constipated.
This once led to a broken bone. Dead serious.
It's your body - listen to it.
Interesting. Thank you for sharing. Is it best to cook it then?
Personally I would just avoid it - it isn't that tasty. But if you are compelled to eat it, because of it growing in your garden and you are hungry, for example, harvest it after a frost, or put it in the freezer, and then cook it. Best mixed with potato, cooked in the same pot, and mashed.
Definitely don't eat it raw, you'll only cause digestive issues.
Sugar at the top
Healthy fat and protein at the bottom
This is to keep people sick, obese and dying
Clown world clown world,
Upside down world
I caught on to the food pyramid scam in high school. I was at a friend's house when I mentioned that my niece was severely underweight and she needed to get healthier. My friend's dad went off about how "all you need to do is follow the food pyramid from the government and you'll be a healthy weight all your life." Even with my limited public-school education on government, I wondered "what does the government know about nutrition?" Years later I essentially figured out a proper diet for myself and it almost completely eliminates grains.
The food pyramid is a scam.
Yep my kindergartener got a thing about how bread is the healthiest thing to eat. They said to make sure you eat more bread then fruit and veggies added together. Seemed like fairly bizzare advice.
These assholes at the top want us sick and taking their medications
There just isn't enough childhood diabetes?
Odds they cancelled Paula Deen because she was pushing butter?
The 'experts' are attempting to turn the world upside down and inside out.
The appears to be fake news. While I don't listen to any of this garbage brought to us by university research or the government, this article I think is falsifying the results. They know Lucky Charms is pretty much artificial flavors, artificial colors and sugar, and thus people would be even more outraged. However, I cannot find Lucky Charms at all in the report referenced:

Maybe I missed it.
Wow those suggestions are trash. Wheat, egg "substitutes", etc.?
At least try. Most substitutes end up being worse for you.
Also cheddar cheese? What? Cheese is considered a super food, especially on keto.
Everything on that list should be moderated like a normal human diet will cause
