I've been saying that for a while. Let's stop funding them and their criminal activities. If enough people will join together, we can break them. They have faked their numbers. There have always been more like us than there are of them. People just needed to wake up.
This needs fixing because there are some parts that are wrong or just dumb. You get taxed on your wages and pay income taxes. That is the same thing. If you don’t pay taxes on wages, then you will have income tax to pay. If you pay too much on your wages you will get money back when filing income tax. You also don’t pay sales tax when you purchase real estate. So when we say things that are factually wrong, it takes away from our main argument. Taxes are bullshit
Also wanted to add that the argument at the end is false. Politicians don't get wealthy on taxes which pay their salaries. They get wealthy on insider trading, because they're writing the rules that affect the market, and corruption.

I think there's also been a lot more money laundering and skimming off the top than we were ever aware of.
Yes, they have a generous compensation and benefits package. But I'm talking about wealth that put them in the top 1% or 0.1% of Americans. That comes from the legal insider trading they do and corruption.

In PA we pay a transfer tax when we buy and sell real estate. Every county has a different rate.we also pay yearly property taxes.

I was going to say the exact same thing!! I worked in real estate for years, you don't pay sales tax when purchasing a home. Although, I wholeheartedly agree with the message, it just needs tweaking.
Here in Hong Kong:
Income tax (both salaries and profit) capped at 15%. Median rate for workers = less than 2%
Sales tax: no such thing, except certain items such as cigarettes
Property taxes: effective rate 0.2% in respect to property value (3% "land rent" + 5% "rates" in respect to property rental value), also taxes on rent 15%
Inheritance taxes: abolished in 2006
That's it. No other taxes.

Yes! And we need a politician with balls to enact tax reform. Unfortunately, a politician w/ balls has yet to be discovered. 45 is/was the closest to it, but this tax issue persists

Man, I got some RSO for the first time ever (I've been promised them before but never actually got them but that beside the point).
The brokerage house sold 1/3 of them to pay for taxes, then I get a letter saying I gotta pay capital gains tax on the stock sold to pay for taxes that was already taxed as fucking income!! Bullshit!
