"Pursuit of happiness". This is self evident from the declaration, and yet here we are, needing to pass such a law.
Who'da known!
Exactly. If this is anything other than to show the ludicrousness of our system of laws, then it only perpetuates the fraud.
Let’s go if someone blocks that lock em up
How about an amendment banning forced vaccinations, lock downs, masks, and any type of vaccine passports?
Stop vaccinating our meat.
This is the thing. If our rights are already being trampled, adding more and expecting them to listen won't help.
We already have laws in place. Just need to enforce them
How about stop pretending that those things still exist?
What still exists is how things close earlier than they used to. Let's protest Walmart closing at 11pm? Let's protest how Arby's doesn't open up their lobby for dinning?
Death penalty for anyone convicted of destroying a food processing facility.
I like where you're coming from, the problem is that no one has even been accused.
This is something that your typical sleepwalker may scoff at and ridicule as absurd stating that we do not need a law yada yada. When they do, just show them the articles regarding the Amish livestock dilemma in which their being cornered to administer "vaccines" to their cattle.
Carry On!!!
Government cannot interfere with a contract between men. The laws are already there, just not enforced.
This should include raw milk.
YES This is what I was thinking too. We are not "allowed" to buy raw milk here. We have to have the dead white stuff they call "milk" instead. If we want to buy raw milk, we have to buy a cow share, which is, at the low end, $50 a month for two gallons of milk. Not worth it at all!
We need this bad. So many hoops to jump through to sell beef by the pound.
Imagine being able to process meat outside of USDA facilities? Wow, game changer
Uh.... Were we not allowed to do that? I must've not got the memo
Go ahead and try to start selling some homemade products without any labels and see who's knocking how quick. It's just like moonshining, they don't want just anyone making money selling un-taxed goods. They always use the safety card when they take your liberties. It isn't safe to prepare food in a non certified kitchen didn't you know?
Food handling licenses and certified kitchens and labeling for processed food.
Meat and dairy? Even tougher regulations. And if you don't think they'll keep an eye out ask the Amish.
Sure you can garden and gift homemade food, but don't dare sell it.
Stifling of small businesses with barriers and regulations.
Can't we do that in a Private Member Association (PMA)? I never tried but I'm pondering it. Set up a PMA, say charge a quarter to be a member & then whatever you do (buy or sell) in there is not their business????
Ah, yeah the free trade among people is a huge barrier. I used to bake for a local cafe chain and the commercial kitchen requirement was a pita. I was thinking more along the lines of we kill and butcher our own meat and nobody is inspecting our freezers. (Yet, probably)
I currently use a custom exempt facility. That somewhat limits me as to how I can market my product. Not much to choose from here in the usda facility department.
Amen.
This is such a common sense thing that it's hella weird it has even gotten to the point that we need to make it an Amendment, but here we are and it should absolutely be one. If any politician opposes this, it's because they want us to suffer.
Open your constitution to Article 1 Section 8.
Note that that is the complete list of things the fed gov can do.
Rather than saying "government can't do X", we need to list out the things it CAN do. This is because there are an infinite number of things government wants to do to its subjects.
How about a bill that restricts the Govt from poisoning the soil, water, and air in which people utilize to grow crops and then holding such Govt accountable for HIGH TREASON when they do so?

Food freedom for most of us seems like affording food in the first place. I suspect Thomas Massie is all for funding food stamps and the department of agriculture?
I don't know but he does want to abolish Dept of Education.
So basically, he just wants to use freedom as an excuse to dismantle the government is runs?
Would this allow someone to sell you poison?
