The state is Red save for the I5 corridor swath (4-8 miles either side of it, maybe more, maybe less). Unfortunately, the mentally ill are now expanding even out on the coast as we see in the quaint little seaside village known as Seabrook. It's wokeness zombieville for wealthy libtards who have to escape the city. Reminds me of Chautauqua. We go there from time to time. Notice I wrote " time to time"? Its my dose of reality check of lunacy. I sit and listen to some of the W-zombies discussions. Wow! Renton, Burien, Auburn etc. is South King County.

Technically you are correct but with the population rising the definition is changing. Yes Bellevue is the “Eastside” but if you told someone you lived in East King County they would assume Snoqualmie or North Bend not Bellevue.

It’s also why I am very anti immigration. H1-B1 workers have driven the cost of living here by a lot. Make your own countries great again stop moving here. And lastly of course we have Jay Inslee here who is one of the worst governors in America. We also don’t have elections here with universal mail in voting.
Bellevue is where I am grew up. Went to Bellevue High back when they were a powerhouse in football. And Bellevue square is nice in the fact that I can go there instead of Seattle if I want fine dining or if I need to buy nice clothes for an event. Also my LCS Bellevue Rare Coins is there.
But instead of seeing mostly white people and East Asians you see every race under the planet there and hear many non English languages.
It’s also much bigger then it used to be. The only things remaining from old Bellevue are Chace’s Pancake Corral and The Pumphouse Bar & Grill.
They move east as big developments of McMansions have been built. Then they discover their salaries don’t cover the cost of fuel to drive 40 miles each way to their woke jobs in Seattle, Bellevue and Redmond or to heat it either. Then they sell it to some other sucker not as far along on the scam plan and the process starts over until someone is left holding the overpriced McBox.
I’m guessing a lot of families with school aged children moved out from 2020 to current. I know for a fact that one way Uhaul rentals were much higher out of Seattle and Portland compared to in inbound (checked these rates myself)
They have homeless camps right next to schools. The school board protects the homeless camps, even tho there are calls about drug use and violence. Seattle neighborhoods, city streets, and schools are no longer safe. And they scratch their heads why parents pull their children out?
