Unlike a lot of people in the cities, farmers know each other. If push came to shove, they can survive, so long as the government doesn’t do to them what they did to Ukraine during the Holodomior..

Interesting thing about a couple of European countries—during Covid, it brought a lot of farmers kids back home to the farms and those young people began to revive their farms again. Production in many areas has increased because of this!

Sure it's fine for the ruling classes to murder hundreds of millions of people, but if the common folk rise up and bring guns to demonstrate then that is criminal and they can be shot by the police. Hmmm, kind of a double standard or two tiered justice system. Time to squash the grasshoppers under our tractor wheels and boots.

This is a start...... In Amsterdam, the government has learned to expect this. They have made countermeasures of using giant fork lift trucks and front loaders to remove protesting farmers and their tractors. They are using SWAT style tactics of pointing long guns at the drivers of these farm vehicles to arrest them.

You can bet Brussels will adopt countermeasures too. The farmers will have to become more creative or pursue the only act that removes tyranny. This is the removal of the government by any means necessary . Peaceful protest is a display of size and unity. Tyrants are typically challenged by this and emboldens them to fortify their plans.
