The last two Burger Kings I've been to in my life, they were dirty and had slow-ass service.
The last time I went there was about ten years ago, where I waited over 15 minutes just for some standard chicken nuggets!
So screw 'em. Seems like they're all run poorly, which makes it a corporate problem.
That overplayed commercial campaign only goes so far.
EDIT: Yes, I know "chicken nuggets" barely qualify as chicken. This was before I learned that.
I haven't been to one in years, and yeah dirty dining room area and service took forever. The next time I tried the drive through, and same took 20 minutes and I was 3rd in line.
About 10 years ago, they reduced their staff to just four people at busy times. A "manager" is just another regular employee that makes an extra buck an hour. They've been dying for years. The plug just hasn't been pulled quite yet.
You are right about the slow service. Several years ago I called in an order twice for a pick up and wound up waiting just as long as going through the drive through. Haven’t eaten fast food since, and even then it was rare.
Burger King has one of the best 'charred' burgers, but they fell for the woke BS of french fries are Bad for you, and changed the oil to some fake BS, so they now taste like Cardboard.
If Five Guys ever goes woke, I don't know what I'll do. Best burger-and-fries combo on the fucking planet, man.
Seconded. Five Guys is the true burger king.
But it’s $40 for two people to eat there. I can make a shit ton of home made burgers for $40.
Absolutely correct. Best option is to make your burgers at home!
They originally fried the potatoes, at McDonald's at least, in beef tallow, which is good for you and tasted wonderful. Now they use "vegetable oils" which are Omega 6 fats that should - get this - NEVER be heated, as they quickly rancidify and turn out trillions of free radicals that harm your cells and promote cancer. So, Buh-bye fast food!!
BK burgers are really bad now.
Don't eat anywhere where minimum wage people who hate you are alone with your food.
Good. I've had nothing to do with that chain since the infamous milkshake tweet. I vote with my wallet no matter how insignificant
Remind us what the milkshake tweet was?
After Nigel Farage and other British politicians had milkshakes thrown at them Burger King tweeted: "Dear people of Scotland. We're selling milkshakes all weekend. Have fun. Love BK. #justsaying"
Oh wow. Fuck 'em, then.
Turns out that nobody wants to buy imitation Impossible burgers after all.
The only good thing about BK is the whopper. Everything else is terrible. I won’t miss them.
The whopper tastes good but they throw it together so sloppily it’s a terrible mess to eat. They manage to get mayo on the outside of the bun usually.
The phrase, "Now that's a good looking Whopper!" has never been uttered within 20 miles of any Burger King restaurant. Google it.
I hope they don't close the store nearest me. I do like a Burger King hamburger. It's small in size so I order two and it doesn't break the bank. The taste is better than McDonalds by a long shot.
Culver's around the Branson area sucks. Went there once and cowed to never go back. Sisco food, nothing homemade, but I know all restaurants are not homemade fare.
BK is terrible these days. They brought back the international chicken sandwiches to try and suck less. The stores in my town must not have gotten that memo, they've been out since day one. Here's another funny one, one day. No fries or chicken. Why? The fry cook called in sick. Guess the manager was too dumb to run a fryer (that that has automation btw) They do it to themselves.
How hard is it to run a fryer? They sell them in stores, plus if you want to fry some frozen fries at home, instructions are on the bag.
I don't have any problem running any part of a kitchen. With the work ethic and general laziness in the workplace today we are doomed. And Gid forbid if they have to figure out change without the register telling them how much to give you back.
While I don't get fast food often, I haven't had any fast food restaurant get my order correct in years. I eventually just stopped going outside of getting some fries at Wendy's.
Fine by me. My very seldom dip into fast food is Hardees. Their Frisco burger beats BK and McShits hands down.
This may mean that Americans are changing the way they eat! That would make me happy.
Whoppers are actually rhe best fast food burger not counting places like 5 guys. Out of the big 3 burger King by far tastes the best
YET MORE WINNING! Maybe we switch to eating actual food from gardens and farmer's markets.
