that's a great idea, perfect way to spend time; you're 'reviewing' the information while working on fine motor skills, help with brain connections. by the end you'll be an expert in the material & your handwriting will be perfect. Maybe get a handwriting chart to refer to; to make the strokes correctly. some letters you start at top, some at the bottom; there's a science behind it.

I improved my handwriting after seeing how near-perfect the handwriting was of these 2 foreign exchange students from Taiwan.

They handwrote like printers.

I also understand it was probably near perfect because they were foreign, and they're simply copying the exact shapes they're seeing without really reading it as fluently as we do.

As an American-born-English-Speaker I thought to myself,

"I have no good excuse, I need to write better."

I appreciate this so much. I have terrible handwriting. It was never great, honestly. In school, I printed fast and small basically with the goal of just keeping up with note-taking or being able to write in-class essays fast enough. By the time I was out of undergrad, things were starting to be 100% computerized. Being a computer nerd, I got good at typing. Add in a slight tremor that developed over time and now my handwriting is terrible. When I sat down to try and teach myself the Russian alphabet (I like languages and was looking for a challenge after hitting a wall with French), I became acutely aware of how badly that skill has degraded with time.

It's always good to have a project where you can dedicate yourself to a hobby and see yourself improve with time.

Try fountain pen. Improving writing with a rollerball is not a worthy endeavor.

Look at pictures of HRC prior to 2017 and you will notice her top left lateral incisor (#10 on a tooth chart) and compare that tooth with one in a picture after 2018. They are different, thus, maybe a different HRC (body double). Now, maybe she has had dental work that straightened that tooth, IDK, but it is something to consider.

BEFORE, you decide to do Cursive, spend an entire Month making all sizes of Continuous Circles, across Pages and pages, front and back, so your Wrist learns the muscle Memory of smooth flowing lines....

For what it matters, that might be a good idea as of now, to help your Chicken Scratch improve....

Didn't cursive disappear from the curriculum? I had heard it was due to machines not being able to read it.

My handwriting always noticeably improves whenever I force myself to write just below the threshold of "Why am I writing this slowly? This is gonna take forever!"
