Sometimes I have the weird idea that they were switched, that Hunter was taken out when Joe disappeared and their partners in China were "disappeared." It's an odd idea, I'll admit, but if you entertain it for a while it becomes less strange.

Look at pictures of Hunter and Beau together, and ask yourself if one could sub for the other. THEN look at pics of Joe at State of the Union 2011 vs 2012. Not the same guy, and that was the last time we saw Senator Joe.

Remember, they don't see drag queens as a bad thing. Yes! They absolutely would want you seeing Mr. Fabulous instead of reading about Hunter fathering an illegitimate child and then refusing to acknowledging her so he doesn't have to pay child support. As far as they're concerned, anything that puts Alphabet people in the limelight is a good thing.

This is a theory I have had in the back of my mind about a lot of things in the last few years - names of shooters or bad things that happen to be the same as a pop culture reference or something else that would have existed all over the internet - diluting the ability to discern by hearing the name in passing - which is being talked about - and diluting the online conversation by making it confusing.

I came to this conclusion when I was thinking about why they named the main character in "Breaking Bad" Walter White. Was it so that they could bury the Walter White interview of Harold Wallace Rosenthal?
