Impeaching him does the work that the Democrats are going to need to do themselves - get him off the ticket. There is no benefit to impeaching a puppet when the VP is also just a puppet.
Probably 100% this. Make them remove him, optics are important. If we remove and Big Mike comes in, they save face, you guys removed him and we needed to fill a spot. If they remove him and Big Mike comes in, it looks convoluted and will cause much more backlash.
Our laws are not intended to be selectively applied for political gain, or any other reasons. The law is the fucking LAW! Enforce our laws, or else we do not have a functional government, period. Enforcement of law is non-negotiable.
McCarthy can and should impeach. However, the Senate will not convict, even though they want to.
