Saw it last night. There were more people there than I expected in a blue city/state. It was not graphic but still hard to watch especially knowing that so many do not get rescued.
During the movie; had to make a trip to the restroom. On my way back, I stepped into the IMAX next door showing Indiana Jones

I was enraged. I guess something is fundamentally wrong with people like me. I would have zero problem permanently removing the slavers from humanity. .
Sorry? Not sorry. I was angry too and it made me want to do something. I need to think on it because there aren’t obvious things to do. During the movie I just kept thinking how hard it would be to be undercover and act chummy with these demons, even just playing the role in the movie, when all you’d want to do is put that millstone around their necks and toss em into the ocean.
Reassuring to know that I am not the only one who keep his demon on the leash.

I had a couple of nuns sit next to me when I went to see the movie. All I could think about was all those kids that have been molested by priests in recent years. Pissed me off! Then the one sitting closest to me rests her hand on my damn drink. I don't think she even realized that my drink was there. Now, I was livid! Swapped my drink to the other cupholder.

I just saw it tonight. It was held in the biggest room at my local theater. The place was PACKED, which I wasn't expecting when I pre-ordered my ticket online and saw that only a couple rows of seats had been taken already. When I got there every row was taken! Majority of people stayed for the special message (those who left probably really needed to use the restrooms, I don't blame them, I was forcing myself to wait until I saw the end credits message).
Superbly shot movie, I was really impressed that it only had a budget of $15 million and looked like an $80 million movie at least. It's already made back it's budget, but now it needs to make back it's marketing fees. So here's hoping it makes at least $30 million!

If you saw the move or have not seen it yet, remember/pay attention to the name of women, how the kids are transported and the exclusive member only club that was created. Remember this movie would have been released 5 years ago when Fox owned the rights to it. When Disney purchase Fox's rights, it took Angel Studio 5 years to acquire the rights!
