Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Does anyone know why the sidebar is visible for me now? It never used to be. Is there a way to remove it?
Fren, post a screenshot so we know what you are talking about.

I am looking for good Sci Fi, or Fantasy that is not woke, or an excuse to have a porn event. Please let me know who you read.
The Mind Parasites-Colin Wilson- The Space Trilogy or the Cosmic Trilogy -CS Lewis (one of my favorites). Slaughter House Five-Kurt Vonnegut-The Reality Dysfunction-Peter F Hamilton-Hyperion-Dan Simmons- I have enjoyed them all
Expanse series books are pretty good. Of course there are occasional sex scenes, but sparse.
I will check them out. Thank you :)
I enjoyed Dune, thank you :)
Cool, I am putting Dune on the list. I liked the original movie.
That is the best sell right there! Personally, I cant watch TV or Movies anymore (Pedo problem) and I haven't been a fan of many books lately. Ready Player One... Too much swearing, I put it down. Most of the other stuff has problems with politics or reveals their level of brainwashing:(
Thank you, I will check them out.
I enjoyed the book. Thank you
Have a bad knee, and had some time off from work. It is a great way to avoid pain pills.
Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan, Piers Anthony, Robert Ludlum, Frank Peritti, Jim Butcher, Orson Scott Card, Gregg Bear, James Clavel, Terry Goodkind, Raymond E Feist, William Hornwood, and Christopher Paolini. I find rereading old books less enjoyable than before: Paolini - strong arguments for atheism, Jordan - eastern mysticism, Dennis E Taylor - Trump hating Liberal. I never saw the themes, but seem them all now :(
I enjoyed Dune a lot. Thank you.
The blue bird is dead.

Quite Frankly is one of my absolute favorite podcasts. Frank is a truly based and talented guy, he has that special quality of making you feel like family. The other day he had a couple of guests, one was an exorcist and the other a demonologist. The podcast really gave me an understanding of the level of spiritual warfare we are facing today. One thing I appreciate about Franks interviews is that he asks great questions and then doesn’t interrupt his guests. Well anyway, it’s a really good example of his craft. I thought many here would like a listen and enjoy his show in general. How he has not syndicated across the country on radio is beyond me, enjoy. https://www.bitchute.com/video/Gt2o9A4sZNzP/

Hahahaha! That gets me every time.
dude is based but he's missing the effect that SOF is having.
That is why I actually write down my passwords into a book and store it away somewhere, so this will not happen to me again.
What if they find the password? Good luck sorting through hundreds, if not thousands, of pages to find that one scribbled line.
How do you find it?
I use an encrypted spreadsheet on a USB.
What a bitchass.
I knew when I got the Pepe that i didn't know the password. the pain was gonna come eventually. but yeah, roast me
i'm gonna go with 'weird but effective method of account security'.
My daughter's pen pal in America sent her a box of American snacks. My girl likes M&Ms and it's the one snack that my mom would spoil her with before she died. It's one of the few memories my daughter has of her grandmother. Anyhow, I'm reminded of how very few snacks from America are even palatable anymore. We had sent a box of Japanese snacks to the girl in America as J-snacks are quite the rage these days it seems. I feel badly that the girl sent those American snacks and my girl doesn't care for any of them really. Skittles... meh. Sour Patch Kids... meh. The Milky Way bar was pretty nominal. I'd forgotten how unremarkable those are. Rice Krispy Treats are nice when made from scratch, but the store-bought ones are so-so. She didn't care for that either.
The last time I was in America, the new, "exciting" flavor of potato chip was... ketchup. I mean, how many phony execs sitting around a table did it take to think up that genius flavor? How long did it take? "Hey, I know... How about... ketchup?" "Dear God, you're a genius!" Yeah. Meanwhile in Japan, they have new flavors of potato chips every month. Wasabi, Steak and garlic, truffle, Thai tomyumkun, you name it. Plus they're non-GMO potatoes.
The last thing left to open up from this care package from America is Cheez-Its. I never really cared for those to begin with. I won't expect my daughter to care for those. I have to say that my friend in England has sent some rather nice, high-quality snacks. As for America... I hate to say it, but I don't really miss snacks from America. I do have fond memories of Sun Chips, but I have no idea if I would enjoy those as I once did.
Salt water taffy. Caramel turtles. Pecan nougat rolls. Spiral fruit candy sticks. Maybe the only big brands I'd go with are Tic Tac, Nerds or Runts. Beef jerky. Kettle corn.
Japan has some of the best snacks I can attest to that. They’re sweet but not overly sweet. They’re just sweet enough. I love Melty kiss, and pocky sticks. But you can get the pocky sticks here at some stores, and at Asian stores, but the Melty kiss I can only get when my brother sends them to me. They have the best little cookie packages and they’re always individually wrapped and package so precisely. I agree with you 100%. I’d much rather have a sweet from Japan then America.
my canadian friend loves the ketchup chips, but then again, he puts ketchup on everything, it's really ghetto. Snacks have changed, they do not taste the same, but I was a kid decades ago. The Hostess snacks like Twinkies and Sno-Balls and Cupcakes all taste like sugared wax, which is probably what they are made of. Snickers are still good, in a pinch. I like Lays Classic Chips, no flavored anything. It's all I eat now for an unhealthy snack, the snack cakes gluten and chocolate are all off limits due to MCAS. My big treat at bedtime are my magnesium gummies, welcome to senior living. I love Turkey Hill Ice Cream, Butter Pecan. Canadian Mars bars are superior to USA candy bars, I am told. If you lay off anything with high fructose in it, and then have it again after a long pause, you can taste and feel the difference in your gut, like feeling the gut microbiome die on the spot, seriously, it happens.
I had a customer who used to put ketsup on his pancakes and brown gravy on his fries.
hmmmm, that sounds so dyslexic. Uggghhhh.
That's what I'm afraid of. I have a nostalgic liking for Sun Chips, but I have a feeling that if I were to try them again, I wouldn't like them. When I lived in America, I'd eat the roasted pumpkin seeds (the Japanese pumpkin seeds are not good and do not compare) and roasted almonds. I'd buy these at Sprouts farmers' market.
Oh crap. Really? That's sick. We used to shop at Sunflower Market on 3rd Ave and Bell Road. It was nearly identical to Sprouts.
Sadly most junk food in America isn't what I grew up loving. Maybe it's not sad because I don't eat the junk. Most chocolate is mediocre compared to twenty years ago. I don't know for sure but heard years ago companies like Hersey aren't made here anymore. One major downfall is the ingredients like soy, it's just not as good. Mounds bar is still good. M&Ms & skittles have a very bad ingredient. It might be the dye. Name brand marshmallows have blue dye, they are white, why!? Off brand no dye. I believe they have been slowly poisoning processed food for decades. Maybe not intentionally IDK. I'm sure it's cheaper to use subpar or fake ingredients. I never liked sun chips but I was raised on ruffles, lays and the original Doritos. Used to love Doritos until the changed them. The best option is to make your favorites at home. There's a copy cat recipe online for everything.
Smarties from Canada are really good, though they’re Nestle. But far better than M&Ms. They’re slightly bigger.
I grew up eating Smarties and sweet tarts. Now they give me and my husband mouth ulcers. We can't eat any candy like. Especially nerd's they mess us up. Bit O'honey is still as good as it was forty years ago.
The American Smarties are sour but the Canadian ones are totally different. They’re like larger M&Ms- chocolate inside, candy coating. https://files.catbox.moe/txgwyr.jpeg
The Canadian version of sour Smarties are called “Rockets” btw. Kinda confusing.
I woke up from my nap tonight with an idea that might help some Anons having troubles. We need an emergency link on the side bar or with the mods for those starting to suffer from this movement that really need help. I had a spiritual battle that ended with total breakdown. I had two great friends alive with me that witnessed some very weird stuff. I showed my computers to a friend that is good with computers and he could not take my computer off Airplane mode. I was hallucinating badly but some was real, I am still finding out which is which.
I was terrified that something was going to happen to my neice and told everyone I could, no one listened and the next day she got Tboned on the freeway. Her car flipped three times but no one was seriously injured and no one remembers anything. The other driver does not even know why he was there.
So trying to keep it short and pretty please don't block me but we need a place to go where you don't offend anyone like I did.
I am very sorry about that, as this is where many of the folks are that I consider friends is. I hope that you can forgive me.
Replying to my own post---I happily watched a fly leisurely swimming in my luke warm coffee. He rolled over on his back and waved at me. I don't believe that was real but it made me happy at the time--LOL
That was probably hallucinating lol
No doubt, at least I hope so.
Username checks out.
Just kidding, but yes, there needs to be some type of an out reach for people to deal with the daily emotions of going through this great awakening.
After I was banned here, my internet connection went dead for 10 days and no one could come in and make a call from a cell phone until I asked out loud and said I needed him to help me call my bank. Everything went into airplane mode,----for 10 days. I then got really pissed and started yelling about it, not fair 10 days of darkness was enough. The next day everything was ok.
You can imagine how my friend that was trying to call the bank on his cell, and it automatically turning to airplane mode felt. I have to wonder if it was the Ghost in the machine taking care of me. They even changed the pictures on my desktop to ones of my pets the police took from me.
Demons are real
You bet they are!
Name came from a close friend that passed. He used to call me his crazy little cloud. We were working on cloudbusters at the time.
I say "Hello" to the flies when they jump in my coffee. They don't wave back, but I say hi.
Hang in there. WWG1WGA
I think the tide has turned, there’s a complete lack of disappointment here, and I’m shocked I tell you I’m shocked! To be honest, it’s a bit disappointing.
👏👏🤣😂
Don't worry, i'm still reeling by the disappointment i was faced with here yesterday by the disappointingly-newly-appointed minister of disappointment, u/2ndenthusiast . I may well be so disappointed, i'll probably disappoint the minister by missing our previously scheduled encounter, leading to an even greater surplus of pure disappoint.
The disappointment is spreading too. My mom has an account here, but lost her password…. Of course, causing disappointment. u/basedpedegrandma
She asked me to post a reply for her. See yesterday's thread for details! 🤣😂
Pathological from the Greek παθολογικός.
Anything to do with the Obamas is foul!
No disappointment here. If you haven't seen yesterday's chef Q proof, check it out. https://greatawakening.win/p/16bj5MXgfa/q-post-3474-was-posted-july-24th/c/
Then, this is the anniversary of the No Name Q proof. https://greatawakening.win/p/16bj5LPZKd/i-was-looking-at-upcoming-q-drop/
Be ready...normies will be asking questions.
as promised yesterday...today's verse guaranteed to prevent disappointment. My favorite verse of all time. This is Q101!
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Amen wow solid verse my fren. Hoping we can continue this trend of first comment scripture
“First Verse” (Copyright pending) 🤣😂
Oh I love that. Yes spread the word. First verse is trending 😁😊🤣
Yeah, don't you bring me nothing stupid
If you don't want me to lose it
Step back if you don't want me to attack
I'm a beast, better give me the deuces
I have no tolerance for nonsense,
get away from me
Me wanna get dollars
Don't wanna holler but you makin' me
I'm a little dysfunctional
You're the problem, please don't awaken me
And I'm that way cause back in The day most have forsaken me
La-di-da-di, I'm at the party---
Oh.... you said Q101.... my bad.
That’s a fantastic first. It did not disappoint.!
Edit: I use Siri, and it’s supposed to say that’s a fantastic verse. But I think she’s in on it now too!
First Verse! 🤣😂
