According to a press release, the board's design was "student-created"; it was funded by the board, which being woke, has lots of money for this kind of stuff, but I haven't gotten any new textbooks in any subject in the 11 years I've taught at my current school. I'm not sure what you mean by pedo references, though, other than they're bringing a message about sexuality into classrooms where the vast majority of kids are not sexual beings since they are too young to have those feelings.

It doesn't really serve any purpose to put pedo symbols in this context. If you run a pizza parlor or donut shop or charitable organization that serves as a front for some nasty pedo stuff that happens in the basement, yes, you might put some pedo symbols in the window because you're looking for your birds of a feather to join you.
This is a different type of evil. By putting one of these stickers in every teacher's mailbox, they are drawing battle lines. They are saying either support the LGBTQ++++ agenda openly, or make yourself out to be a non-inclusive bigot, so take your pick. I saw several Christian teachers post the sticker, but a few of us stood our ground and did not. This post displays my counter-offensive. They can't say I'm not being inclusive now. In fact, mine is arguably more inclusive.
I disagree. It's ugly AF, and our board has a very professional communications department and will hire graphics designers when they want to do stuff like this. I don't even think it was a high school student that designed it. Probably a 12-year-old, I'm guessing.
Here's my logic:
1.) If a kid drew it they give credit to the kid - hey everyone Jimmy from classroom 5A made this drawing and it's now the cover of the yearbook - yay Jimmy - doesn't sound like that is happening here
2.) If an adult made it and they're trying to make it as though a student submitted it - they write letters backwards, make it look less polished intentionally, etc. This drawing has some complexity to it and could include some pedo symbology. That's beyond your typical kid artwork. Now some of those symbols could be a kid mimicking drawings they have seen in the past, but I'm just getting a vibe that this was an adult doing this and then saying "it was totally a kid". I don't see many kids having a mastery of the many many different symbols for male, female, runish drawings that's in the clouds of the drawing.
