This is the first time I have seen gas prices below $3 under Biden. However, there are some gas stations that have radically higher gas prices. $2.99, $3.11, and one was $3.59, and they are not even more than 3 mi apart from each other!

I've been waiting for it to go up for several months in Florida but it keeps dipping. From about 3.70 to under 3.40 in the last six weeks or so.
I heard yesterday that gas prices went up
So I checked the current gas prices from AL to TX (including MS and LA), all the prices were actually down in price. I was rather surprised......
Same in Central Ohio.

Just your area. Gas has gone up at least 40 cents in the last few weeks. I just paid $5.59 and I'm not in California.
Crude oil prices have come down for about a week, until the Israel thing happened.
My guess is that some of the local gas stations are SLOOOOOW to drop their prices, making them more money.
Congratulations! They are telling you to AVOID the price gougers and go with the ones who are more honest with their prices.
No changes in IL, still over $4 for premium.
Here in N.E. Washington state 87 octane is over $5.00 a gallon and diesel is over $6.00
prices always go down in fall/winter, then skyrocket in spring/summer.
it's all a scam
there's never a real reason why the prices go up or down.
