If she follows the agreement she has to testify truthfully. The question is who will the truth hurt! I cannot imagine that they would put her on the stand without a deposition first under oath. They may be shocked to hear Sidney’s truthful testimony. I believe the whole case could be dismissed.
To get her plea deal she made a proffer. The judge mentioned that she had already completed her proffer agreement.

The information she provided was to be used against a county elections supervisor that provided her access to elections systems. The argument from prosecutors is that legally the supervisor did not have the power to give her access.
Let me see if i have the general jist right:
She wanted to prove election fraud and cheating, so she accessed the voting computers etc and copied off the data...
Now, they boomerang'd her and are trying to say that SHE had a hand in cheating etc.
Yes?
She was invited to inspect the machines. Then she was charged for accessing them. The plea is not about cheating, it's about the "unauthorized" access.
She's a patriot.
I agree
We may get to find out.
The charges were dropped because they were bogus.
They weren’t dropped, Powell pled guilty as part of her deal - her deal contingent on a proffer.
Technically the worst of them were dropped, but you're correct, they were dropped because she agreed to the plea deal and plead guilty.
Trump will pardon all who took one for team. imo
State case. Presidents can't pardon. President's can only pardon in federal cases.
You really want Trump to go down don't you handshake?
If Durham native, Powell is surrendering a minor battle or even sacrificing herself, it is part of a checkmate strategy to win the war.
Was this the case where she got separated from the Trump case? If so, I wonder if that was done as a threat to [someone] that the "details" could come out early, if needed. That contingency was not required, so fold her testimony back in with the rest at a later date.
Yes, she and Kenneth Cheesebro wanted a speedy trial. She was going to be tried with him. Jury Selection starts tomorrow. Trial starts Monday.
So the Cheesebro stands alone.
Hi-ho, the derry-o! The cheese stands alone.
Not anymore. Cheese also pled guilty today. WTF is going on???
She handed over transcripts of private conversations between herself and President Trump.
I'd say this prediction is already in danger.
I trust no one other than myself, President Trump & God. Anything more and you risk serious disappointment.
The proffer could have been very general, e.g., you will testify about ? truthfully. There is an old article about her authorization to represent parties in military tribunals. I think she represents military intelligence on the election. Additionally she can withdraw the plea on or before November 5th. What happens (public perception) if suddenly the charges are dropped and the complaint is publicly dismissed?
Where do you get that she can withdraw before Nov 5th? She already plead guilty on record and has already provided proffered testimony for the prosecution. My understanding is there's no backing out now and it's she tries to they're going after her for the felonies.
Sidney and Rudy Guliani were both representing Trump. If they fall on the sword, can't Trump use as a defense, he was being represented by ineffective legal representatives?
"Ineffective assistance of counsel is a claim asserted by a criminal defendant that his or her defense attorney failed to perform in a reasonably competent manner. This violates the right to effective counsel (and thus a fair trial) as guaranteed by
the Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. A successful claim of ineffective assistance of counsel can be the grounds to
overturn a conviction and/or vacate a sentence."

I don’t think Trump ever hired Sidney Powell to represent him.
You could be right. It's hard to say, it has been so long ago.
I did a quick search for, "was sideny powell representing Trump" and found several article saying she is his former attorney. They were all mainstream media sites so though, I wouldn't trust anything they said. They could be calling her "Trump former attorney" just so they can associate the two.

My understanding of the background of this was Rudy Giuliani was the campaign's lawyer. Sidney Powell was announced and appeared as part of the team for like a week, but Rudy and her didn't get along. So she soon wasn't officially part of the team
what if she fly's the coop to a safe RED state and stays there?
She lives in Texas.
But she would be a fugitive and it would void her deal. Rather than 6 years of probation, she would get 6 years of time if they kept the misdemeanor charges she plead to. But something like that might bring back the full felony penalties. I don't know.
I don't think she will testify against Trump and team bc they did nothing wrong. I believe Powell is a patriot and had the best intentions when she challenged the 2020 elections results. But, we're all human and we can be made to go against our principals if enough pressure is brought to bear. She definitely needs our prayers.
So...there really IS a Kraken after all...
I always wondered why she backpedaled and played it off like something she made up... somebody told her to STFU.
Powell was a plant guys and trump knew it a longggg time ago.
He distanced himself from Powell back in 2020.
He wasn't fooled.
That title is surreal. It really shows how wild the last few years has been. 2.5 years ago, a title like that would NOT have made sense on my radar screen.
