This bill has virtually no chance of becoming law. (See Article I, Section 7 of the Constitution) In short, to become law a bill must be approved by majority vote in the exact same content by both houses of congress and then approved by the president. If the president does not approve the bill, it may become law by being repassed by two thirds vote in both houses of congress. I am certain MTG was aware of this when she introduced this symbolic measure.
