I read that one of the claims against Media Matters could be Tortious Interference, which is three times the punitive damages in a lot of states.
That would accuse Media Matters of wrongfully interfering with X's contractual or business relationships.
I imagine the media matters DEI employee that drew up this plan is shitting her pants for being too stupid to realize that twitter might actually have the receipts on this whole thing.
for that one cunt wrecking the cabal behind media matters is up there with being on Killary's hit list
And this folks is why hiring qualified candidates that actually bring something to the table of their profession is way more important than having "are you a black woman" be the only question at the interview....
It was on purpose. They hire radicalized fools, pay them 10xs what they are worth and dont make them do any real work. They're happy to censor.
I think its HILARIOUS that these morons don't think that
A: Twitter keeps a log of every action of every user B: Can see what ads are shown to who C: Would bother to look up the accounts this moron used to fabricate the evidence for their bullshit 'article'
So, I have been ‘tinfoil hattin’ this since Elon bought Twit. He is next level brilliant. People for some reason cant comprehend that. Dude is a walking super computer. I BELIEVE he knew exactly what they were/are doing and that through litigation, knowing they would do exactly this shit, he could sue those scumbags out of existence and pay for Twat in the process.
So, a social-media click farm?
Artificially driving up fake engagement?
After Elon got rid of bots, this is the next level - more sophisticated - that needs to be taken out.
The problem is that I've seen photos of Asian women with dozens of phones, whose entire job is using them to tap and click to drive engagement.
The phones are all laid on a slanted desk/wall and she pokes at each one's ads that keep coming up.
This is real.
I saw a video of guys who rent storage units. They have hundreds of phones all playing the same song off of iTunes. The people that were paying them were the music labels. All to drive a single song up the charts.
Precisely.
Quality =/= play. Only those chosen by the bosses succeed.
Most of the "bots" on twitter were not literal programmatic bots, but click farms where humans do the job of the bot (and I have no problem classifying them as "bots lol)
Elon has most definitely not gotten rid of bots, as this post clearly showed. X still has a major, major problem with bots
Definitely still there, but I can see from my own experience that the amount of bots attacking us has drastically reduced. But yeah, not zero yet.
Same sleeper accounts upvoting pro-FE comments to derail discussion and make things all about them, to distract from the real problems, too.
Going up against X and relying on X not having good analytics to do the forensics on what you did to them... not a good strategy.
X had great analytics back when it was Twatter. I don't imagine things got anything but better in terms of analytics, under Elon.
Except I have an analytics button, now
Not sure if my post was understood. I could have written it more clearly. My meaning was that under Elon, it is likely that the internal analytics improved from Twatter days. And to your point, there are now improved external analytics for customers as well.
You must have meant what you said sarcasatically then
No. "I don't imagine things got anything but better" = I am sure things improved.
Sometimes I write with "double negatives" to be a bit "sardonic" without being sarcastic. But I need to stop doing that, because being clear in my intent to bring down the Cathedral is much more important than being clever.
Can someone explain this to me like I am a 15-year-old girl? Cuz that's what I am, LOL
Media Matters created accounts and then exclusively followed accounts that posted white nationalist/antisemitic/racist content as well as big corporations that post paid adverts. They then began refreshing their timelines until racist content appeared alongside these paid ads. They took screen shots and went to the corps basically saying 'is this what you want your company/brand/product to be associated with?' and obviously lots of them all said no way and pulled all of their adverts from X threatening a huge loss in revenue for Musk's company.
Nice! A 14 yo girl can understand that. Thanks!
Sorry, GatoV, I’m full on regarded.
Can someone ELI5?
Obviously us 5 year olds are not in the know. How about some context OP?
And a President Trump-appointed judge has been assigned to the case.
Given the $$$ involved here with the advertisers who left, could we be watching the beginning of the end for one of the most cancerous media outlets in the history of our Republic?

Did they actually commit a crime here? Please tell me they're guilty of fraud, and will be destroyed.
No.
They didn't commit a crime
This is a civil lawsuit.
This is a Q related board…correct? Media Matters is a Clinton surrogate group per Q
