Va weather has been crazy. Usually my yard is full of leaves by the end of October. But this year all my trees were still green and didn't even begin losing their leaves until the first week of November.
The oak trees refused to give up their leaves this year, it’s ridiculous. No pointing raking leaves because most of them are still attached to the trees. Really frustrating.
There's a couple varieties of oak, (silver oak?), that the leaves turn, but don't drop them until early spring. But yeah, its about 1 and 1/2 weeks behind.
This comports with my conversation two days ago with national guard SGM at dinner. He was at the capital last week for training exercise. Stood in the same spot those CP shot civilians on Jan6.
Does the army always do training right at the Capitol like that? I remember when they were landing black hawks on Wilshire Blvd in LA and the military anons were saying no way that's a training. Washington DC still looks abandoned.
That was my thought as well....many Red Hats appear to be wearing masks on their legs. Tents are consistent with decon sites. No unit designations at I can see. Interesting....
The tents look similar to Decon tents, but not sure why they would be such far distances away from each other, and the soldiers are not wearing PPE or Hazmat suits. Also the dummies look like NHI. Very strange!!
I also notice Red Crosses on the tents, indicating Medical/Triage. That, with apparent face masks (one way valves), seems they’re training for MCI-type of events. But again, no other PPE or Hazmat and oxygen tanks.
How many people are needed to wheel a mannequin on a stretcher a hundred yards?
"Training"... this is a lot of overhead, resources and effort for an exercise. But given our military is consumed by the woke mind virus, I wouldnt expect anything except what is shown in the video.
I am sure they have to practice the standard operating procedures for not misgendering a mannequin.

Why are there still so many leaves on the trees? This had to be at least a few weeks ago.
I noticed the same thing when we were in DC recently. But in the Ozarks the leaves were gorgeous.
Ok, thanks for providing perspective. I'm in the southeast and most of the leaves are down now, except for oak and beech, but that's every year.

Meanwhile in Oklahoma ours have completely dropped several weeks earlier than usual.

The big drop basically started last week in the area. Trees are usually bare by December 1 or so.
