There sure is an uptick in people trying to discredit Christians. Maybe Wood is a paytriot or a charlatan, but maybe he put his heart on his sleeve speaking up for Jesus and Trump and was unmercifully targeted ever since. I don't claim to know but am open to the possibility that a flawed man might actually have a sincere love for The Lord and be on a path for redemption.
I think some were taking offense that Lin was baiting people to put their real names on Truth Social….
Well stated, 7ate9. For me and my house, we stand with Lin. People of the world think when you meet Jesus, you immediately become perfect. Actually in your spirit that is the case, but in the flesh, carnal part of us, we are on our way step by step to being like Jesus. I don't put much stock in people who criticize Believers because they are just showing their ignorance as to how things work in the "spirit world". When we accept Jesus and are BORN AGAIN, we start out that new life being "babies" and then we GROW UP little by little. We mature little by little and can only speed it up somewhat according to how much we study and OBEY the BIBLE. Learning to LOVE is a process.
Interestingly, you can say the same, if not moreso, for the other side of the aisle. There are plenty of magical bullshit words to go around.

I noticed the moment Lin turned and was using hyper-religious language against big names on our side. Notably, he did not use such language until he made this turn. Before he started attacking our own, I had no idea he even identified as a Christian.
I am a Christian, but I did not for one second believe Lin Wood's hateful screeds, no matter how much he couched them in religious language.
And WHO knows the HEART of a Man. ONLY GOD. AND GOD IS PATIENT. AND GOD IS KIND. AND UNLESS WE LEARN TO LOVE the Bible says we are nothing but a loud irritating noise. Maybe WE SHOULD ALL HEED THIS SCRIPTURE. I know I qualify as one who should take it more seriously. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.

Why are you bringing Jesus into this? When I first started posting online around 2006 or so, I did use by real name and had no issue sharing my city and state. It wasn't long before I was bombarded with emails, texts, calls using my name and city, state. Nothing overtly threatening, mostly spam "financial" ads and such. Usually no individual's name or company's name accompanied - just a phone number or reply email. It got old fast. Had to make a lot of changes to regain control of my emails, texts, and calls.
I'm not a public figure, seeking a following and/or payment for services, so I don't receive the death threats Lin and others do. I know what I went through and can only imagine what Lin and others go through with the daily death threats. I don't blame him for calling them out.

It is about declaring your belief, your choice. There are many, many people the world over who feel deeply this is a spiritual battle between good and evil, between Jesus (God) and Satan (devil, lucifer, baal, etc).

The only time Jesus was mentioned by me was when I quoted what Lin said, and as referenced in the original quote by Brian Cates, he mentioned how some use religious phrases and terms to somehow give them more gravitas.
If you can’t explain what you are getting at or what possibly offends you…I don’t have an answer for you. But Merry Christmas!
One doesn't have to be pro Lin to see and understand that guy was rode hard by the left for a lot longer than many in the war. Love him or hate him "now" the fact is clear the guy was one of the earliest targets in this conflict.
The thing I wonder is why he hasn't bowed out at this point. There's no money for him to make. He's burning all the fame and fortune his previous life showered upon him.

I have been following Lin closely and this last post did make me go hmm.
I have been following Lin and his interactions with the Patriot roadshow types because I thought it was interesting to see the interactions. Lin called them out one by and one and independent researchers on telegram dug deeper and we found a lot of deep state connections that have enhanced my understanding of how all this stuff is connected.
:Lin met with Trump the morning before the Coronavirus pandemic began. Lin makes intense accusations for a man with a background in defamation law, including body doubles, Gitmo justice, and calling out celebrities. It's always interesting to see what he says.
Now, I don't know what operation he is running by trying to get people to dox themselves in the name of Jesus and fearlessness. He may be saying it's safe to come out with your real name now. I plan on following the laws of internet safety I grew up with and not divulge my real name to general public with statements that could be twisted to ruin my family. Also, I do not have a nonprofit to protect me from that situation like Lin does. I did notice that TG channels associated with Lin did not repost this particular post, but did his others. hmmm
From a religious standpoint, I notice that Lin takes on a Reformed view, and frequently shares from his Paul David Tripp devotional. As an advocated of the Gospel of Grace, I'm not a fan of this repackaged Platonism, but the average grandma following Lin wouldn't get that argument:) I'm also reminded of when the pharisees tried to dox Jesus asking him by what authority he did his miracles. He replied with a question asking them about John's authority to baptize. Bottom line: Jesus did not have to tell them who he was at that time. I guess I'm more careful with using Jesus' holy name, especially when it using it a certain way could be construed as manipulation.

WOW, It was great today to see so many users come out from under the fallacy of “protection by anonymity” to use their real names!!!

P.S. I have said from the beginning that Telegram (like other social media platforms with the exception of TRUTH) is a Deep State information-gathering platform also used to spread propaganda, launch strategic attacks on REAL Patriots, and grift.
P.P.S. The Deep State can identify anyone on Telegram. They have your phone numbers. And always remember, God knows who you are and exactly what you are saying, writing, and thinking. And why. God knows everything. You cannot fool God or hide from Him.

All these are valid points, but the biggest problem with sharing your real name in the real world is like another poster noted: spam, and if you're a woman, crazy come-ons, etc. There are so many crazy people out there with so much time to mess with people. One of my grown kids has an anonymous ministry being a friend and sharing Jesus. Some like to boast and have the preeminence, but the Bible says to avoid seeking the spotlight.
Brain Cates can be such an arrogant asshole sometimes.
