I think that, in the same way that Trump has been doing, you have to wait until it is clearly obvious to the majority before you can take action, particularly an action as big as sending the Texas National Guard to block the Feds. For example, if Abbott had taken action early on, in New York City and Chicago it would have been considered a 'Texas problem', and all those liberal New Yorkers and Chicagoans would be screaming (as they were being instructed by the media) to call for Abbot to be impeached and even imprisoned for taking action against the Federal government. Now, New York City and Chicago are well aware of the problem, with tens of thousands of illegals landing in their cities, being given precendence over citizens, getting free food and hotel stays, taking over the airport in Chicago, kicking kids out of schools in New York. I suspect there are many liberal New Yorkers and Chicagoans who are cheering for Abbott, silently or not.
If one were to still believe there is a plan, it would seem logical to think the timing of the Texas situation has been coordinated and timed to be now. If this happened three years ago, I do not believe nationwide public opinion would have been strong enough in our favor. Unfortunately all of what we are currently experiencing needed to happen to wake some people up.

Abbott is a globalist which is why it has taken so long and this is only a small area. He's one of Klaus Schwab's WEF people.
Could be that that route was getting too hot… too much press…. Too many eyes on, so they moved the operation to a new location. Abbott could then come in with the guard and get a political boost, all the attention is focused there while masking another operation. Basically, Three Card Monte “border edition”.
I can't help but think this is little more than a publicity stunt or a distraction. I can see Abbott doing this for a few weeks until the news cycle goes away, and then stopping it with little fanfare.
I had a little hope with Abbott early in Trump's administration but any hope quickly evaporated. Now I have to wonder if his wheelchair has a weather vane attachment so he knows how he feels about every issue.
