I didn't even notice.....
Suddenly I have an urge to read the little house on prairie books again.
As a little kid we would watch Little House and The Waltons together as a family. We kids would get in our pjs and lay on the floor with a blanket and pillow, mom would make popcorn and we all would watch.
Families dont do stuff like that anymore.
Charles Ingalls and John Walton were not perfect humans. But many a time I wished my daughter could find a man with the integrity they had. No joke. I think all kids should observe what there is to learn from watching how the families in those shows dealt with life's struggles and decisions.
Show one episode of this to a woke person, would be like torture

Try Thriftbooks. You can get children's books printed in the 50's and 60's very cheap. I realized books I read as a child had small ink drawings with mostly words on the page. Book's of today have large glossy pictures with very few words on the page. I understand some people think in words and some people think in pictures. I wonder if today's books changed that.
Our phones were screwed to make calls but both the personal hotspot and messaging worked.
Hahahahaha
We had a winter storm a few years ago that took out the power for 3 days AND I felt that way!
I only found out about it here...
My landline worked just fine. π
