I would like to point out that white is the brightest and most visible color available as it reflects the most light.
To paint a crosswalk any color other than white is detrimental to the purpose of providing a safe traffic environment for vehicles and pedestrians alike.
This seems like a potential liability issue when someone gets hurt.
The high school down the road from me painted a bunch of rainbow crap on the street outside of the school a few years ago. Now it’s mostly all faded away.
