She didnt eat again. Slept most of the day. She drank a little bit.
I think i know 1 reason shes not eating. Spoiled mutt is used to snacking on whatever we have during the day and getting whats left after dinner. I was having a couple grilled cheese last night. She got up and came to me for some. She loves grilled cheese. I ripped of a tiny piece of crust. She ate it and wanted more. So i ripped off another tiny piece and dropped it in her food.she devoured the hole plate of food.
A few things ive noticed with this treatment. She got the hershey squirts baaaaaaaad, probably from all the fenben. Wonder if i should give her a few days without to let her system calm down??
And her claws grew super freaking quick.probably from all the vitamin E. I gotta fight with her to try and trim them today.
Maybe see if i can get her fat ass in the tub. Maybe she will feel a little better after a nice warm bath.
Thank you for all the kind words and comments. I might not reply to you all but i do read every comment and look into what you say so i have info when i see my vet.
Fenben kills parasites. So this, in a dog infected with parasites, will result in diarrhea. It's actually a good sign. I would not slow down the treatment.
This, 100%
Check with your vet first to see what he thinks.
Always. Assuming you have a vet that is savvy to how fenben works, etc. If not, get a new vet, and check with him/her.
Or if xer, get a new new vet.
A little bacon grease mixed into the food can go a long way.
Make sure she gets plenty of sun.
Prayers up!
Wouldn’t recommend this one, granted dogs are different than people and I’m no expert on them, specifically, but if you’re trying to get rid of parasites, would avoid pork.
I am not a medicallly trained person, just an engineer. But I would think that the grease from cooked bacon would be free from parasites for a couple reasons
1). FDA. That pork passed FDA screening for health and parasites 2). Smoking and brine of pork should kill parasites 3). Cooking, it the grease is melted as the bacon is cooked, this parasite is also a crispy critter
Parasites, yes, probably. It’s one big reason I don’t worry about pork fat as much as pork flesh.
Toxins? Nope, and part of removing parasites is removing anything that makes you weaker, or them stronger.
If pork fat has anything in it that’s toxic to dogs, and it does have things that are toxic to humans in it, then it would make the dog weaker, which would hinder a parasite treatment.
Pigs are one of nature’s garbage disposal mechanisms, eating everything - dead flesh, diseased rats, other pigs, etc. Would you drop ground-up chicken and fish leftovers and human feces into your sink drain, let it sit there for a bit, see if you could grow a cucumber out of it while it was stinking real good, and eat the cucumber if you succeeded? That’s pork - a meat so healthy that advertisers spent billions of dollars in the 80s convincing Americans to eat pork - “the other white meat”.
That’s also where I said though, that I don’t know if the things in pork fat that are toxic to us are toxic to dogs as well, and vice versa. I’ve seen dogs straight up snarf down a cow patty, and they can’t eat chocolate or some other things that we can, so their systems might not care about it. I’d still go with beef fat if I had a choice here, given what’s being looked at.
Side note: “organic” crops are often grown using human excrement to make it economical. I still pick it over whatever chemical cocktail they use on inorganic, non-GMO, but for crying out loud. Why is it impossible to eat healthy from a grocery store?
The 'salad shooter' effect aka hershey squirts is a common side effect. If it's ongoing I'd give her a break and keep observing.
if you are doing dry food, try melting some butter and pour that into the dry food first. might help her to desire the food more.
Meats and some veggies she likes.
Dogs don't naturally eat veggies unless they need to purge. They don't provide nutrition for your dog, even if she likes them. Most dogs only like veggies when they smell like meat or fat.
Good luck. Slings like she's improving albeit slowly.
As a pet sitter, you’d be surprised how many dogs like vegetables and fruits. Many of the dogs that I sit for eat carrots, blueberries, green beans, etc.. some dogs don’t want anything like that at all, but there are a lot of dogs even on Instagram that eat vegetables.
There are some really cute content creators that make dog videos with them eating broccoli and stuff like that. They’re really cute. However; they always say to do it in moderation, and for it not to replace their carnivore diet.
Here’s a cute little video of a dog that eats greens and vegetables.

Mix powdered probiotics or greek yogurt into her food and see if that helps the digestive side of things without suspending treatment
YES- this. A probiotic is really important. Especially when you’re doing a parasite cleanse.
Agree!
Praise God! Any dog scarfing up food doesn’t have dying from anything on their mind! So happy for you op. You should make her her own grilled cheese! I swear, I needed this news today. Fenben can have that affect. It does it to me too but I wouldn’t back off. I think the positive results you’re seeing are a result of the Fenben. Good luck fren and God bless you and your blessed pup!
What are you taking the fenbenzodole for? Prophylactically? I just started taking it. It’s been four days for me now. For some reason I feel like I have a little more energy. But I don’t know if this is even a fact yet.
I have a shoulder injury. Don’t know how I injured it but it wasn’t getting any better and I have no intention of going to a doctor so I just thought I would try it. Took 3 days but much better and yes I do use it prophylactically as well
Thx for the info
Lol I’ve been known to make my dogs bacon and eggs for breakfast, dinner plates and all.
In our town we have a Butcher Shop that make their own breakfast sausage. My Izzy has to have a sausage patty whenever she knows I'm frying some for breakfast. She is spoiled rotten. And our Butcher knows we buy extra for her. She is Jack Russell/ Beagle mix. She is now almost 17 years old. Wish I could turn back the hands of time.
Awwww Give her a streak on me for her 17th birthday, will you please? 🥩
I think that is why she has lived as long as she has, we've given her everything. Even table food. She's actually grown up with us. Me, my husband and her all have the same aches and pains at times, however Izzy doesn't show it as bad as we do.
Hey you're going to want to help her flush out the dead parasites and guts in general.
Super easy and inexpensive to do.
I do this to my dogs a couple times a month and it helps with that and also makes the hair in the nails grow faster and thicker.
Grab some food grade diatomaceous earth powder from Amazon and mix in about a spoonful into wet food.
Basically this stuff will cut up any dead matter all through the intestinal tract and help flush it out.
It's also great for humans.
Agree on the DE. I’d say do it on some off days of FBN, you don’t want to just pull the FBN out. Break from treatment but do a small cleanse, essentially.
A vet I know once told me that when you are trying to get a sick dog or cat to eat, there are 2 magical things that often help: heat and salt. So try warming her food up instead of giving it cold or at room temperature, and try adding a little salt to it to see if that will stimulate her appetite.
If she were my dog, I’d keep going with the FenBen, Hershey squirts and all. Just continue to offer whatever nutrition and especially liquids you can give her. She’s a bad ass doggie and we’re all rooting for her! 😘 P.S./ Today is Day 17. WWG1WGA!!!
90% of American Cheese 🧀 is gmo rennet made by Pfizer
that stuff is just awful
I can't stand American cheese. Don't really like Velveeta either.
I force myself to like as all kids love it … I should have listen to my own taste buds and body
I’ve wondered for years if those big velveeta logs are secretly the old “government cheese” with a brand name.
I've wondered the same thing myself!! Lol
Here is a link to A natural vet. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9HyIKpRXUPA
He tells of days on , days off dosing.
Wow! this is 17 days after she was ready for the end!
I'd say this stuff is working. Is she getting Ivermectin as well? Blessings!
Her tummy must feel like crap if she has the squirts all of the time. That little doggie is lucky to have a great friend like you. Thanks for keeping us updated.
Give her some probiotics. It should help
Good advice coming in……I’ve always done it when dogs get picky due to sickness…MIX food with people food. Small pieces sprinkled in…sometime they just need help getting started… Continued prayers, love and positive thinking coming your way…
Make sure she gets plenty of water if she's got the runs.
Put some MMS in the dogs water. Look at the protocol for dogs in the MMS Health Recovery Guide in this link. And MMS will not counter-act the Fenben.
You should also look at the link Animals Treated with Chlorine Dioxide for the many testimonials where people cured their pets of illnesses.
Praying for you and your pup. I know this is tough on you both. Watching your friend go through this is tough, but she sure is lucky to have you. Hang in there. 🙏🏻
You are doing God’s work for this great dog. 🙏🏻
How old is your dog?
Around 11-12. But shes still young at heart. She has no problem hopping on and off the couch or in/out of the car.before this, shed do zoomies no problem. If it werent for this,id say she has atleast another year or 2 before she hits the old cant move dog stage.
