Cholesterol deficiency causing disease

The brain needs cholesterol to function properly. I told my doc about 6 months ago that I was stopping statins, no discussion. MUCH less "brain fog".
Good for you. About twenty years ago I was prescribed it after two days I couldn’t open a water bottle. I already had joint pain it was a no brainer to trash that RX. What pisses me off a doctor should know better than to prescribe something that has the same side effects as your symptoms. My current doctor tried to get me on them and I flat out said no. I’ve always thought cholesterol was a scam. Look at the video I posted here. It’s just another con to get money.
How could we know statins are useless but the doctors don't? We didn't bother telling the doctor.
And every visit to the doctor they want to try to put you on a statin. The road goes on for ever and the party never ends for big pharma.
I went to see my Dr re a sinus issue, 2 mins into the consult, she spots my cholesterol numbers and visibly gets excited and starts with the neurotic "OMG you could drop dead with a heart attack" fear manipulation. I had to ask her twice if cholesterol could be a causal factor with my sinus issue before she would go back to the problem I came to see her for.
If I could find a trustworthy Dr I would change but any good Drs got taken out of practice during Covid.
The incentives for getting people on statins must be astronomical.
I am on Medicare and I was told the doctors practicing that take Medicare are required to ask to take a statin, and they are required to ask you to take a flu shot.
Those the blindly follow their advice are just taking what every big pharma is pumping. It is all about the money. People have to learn how to take care of their own health, and stop trusting money grubbing corporate incentives to be in their best interests.
Non-advice commentary from a non-doctor:
Oxidized (i.e., rancid) cholesterol is bad for you, "fresh" cholesterol is needed for important processes in the body.
To help reduce the level of oxidized fats (including about 60% of your brain) and cholesterol, take anti-oxidants such as Alpha- or R-Lipoic Acid, grape seed extract, vitamin C (needed to help cholesterol do what it does -- and maybe add some ascorbyl palmitate, a fat-soluble form of C), and others, and eat foods (and take supplements) that boost your body's production of glutathione and Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) -- and moderate your intake of oxidized and oxidizing foods like packaged ground meat, fried foods, and seed oils (other than organic virgin olive and coconut oil, Butter and Ghee from grass-fed cows or goats, and organic animal fats, darn few "cooking oils" aren't nightmares for your health.
Bad oils (per Dr. Hymam; see below) include especially non-organic soybean oil, ANY type of Canola oil, and even sunflower, safflower, corn oil, Palm oil, Peanut oil, butter substitutes, anything "hydrogenated" ("it's poison" says Dr. Mark Hyman).
See Food: What the Heck Should I Eat?" by Dr. Hyman for more commentary.
When i was growing up the TV commercial jingle sang "The incredible edible egg"... 60-70's.
Your government mandating poisonous vaccines is a higher cause of most diseases.
Dr Anthony Chaffee, a neurosurgeon and has been carnivore for several years has several videos on this subject. Many doctors who are on the carnivore diet lifestyle are speaking out about the con job of cholesterol is bad. I’ve been carnivore for a few months and watch a lot of videos on the subject. Dr Chaffee seems legit. He goes off on rants occasionally about over prescribing of prescriptions instead of fixing the problem with diet.

I tell people to remember the stories told about their grand parents. These people drank like fish, ate everything but fish, smoked constantly, and worked like mules. We are just like them, so any new problems must be related to something new or something that we've changed.
For example: McDonalds french fries used to be fried in beef tallow. If you never had them, you' wouldn't believe how much better they tasted. The advertised reason why they changed was because vegetable oils were cheaper. Unfortunately, the trans fatty acids that are created from super heating vegetable oils are carcinogenic. Knowing how big pharma works post covid, it's entirely possible that they knew all along.
IMO: Eat like you're the top predator on the planet, because you are.
Bloody vegans, leave our fries alone!

I heard it explained that the cholesterol is like the firemen putting out a fire. Not the CAUSE of the fire.
Democrats would get rid of the firemen. People with higher cholesterol live longer.
Democrats would request more money for the fire department.
For diversity training, no doubt. Not for actual equipment or more firefighters.
I think they know lowering cholesterol weakens and kills our fathers and mothers and that is the purpose. Every year the evidence against statins grow, but it never phases them.
I think anti-cholesterol, anti-saturated fat, anti-sodium, anti-sunlight and even anti-sugar are all schemes by pedos to destroy our health.
Sugar is bad stuff and bad for us. Literally feeds cancer. Everything else you say I'm on board with.
I was also on the anti sugar train for the last 15 years, I got off that train for about the last 3 or 4 months.
I changed my mind after listening to and reading stuff from Georgi Dinkov and Ray Peat. I felt it was confirmed when, in the Bible, The Angel of The Lord tells Moses that he will lead them to a land of milk and honey.
Hi fructose corn syrup is still bad, because it contains lots of unprocessed corn-starch which is inflammatory.
I also find the pro-metabolic theory of cancer compelling, but I don't have that much expertise on the subject. The theory, as far as I understand, is basically that cancer doesn't cause the Warburg effect, the Warburg effect (where cells are stuck consuming fatty acids instead of glucose) because burning fatty acids produces less energy and maintaining cell differentiation is metabolically expensive.
Acidosis (Warburg Effect) drives cancer through increased fat oxidation (Randle Cycle)
Interesting read on the Warbug Effect.
Agree with you about honey. I was referring to processed sugar that is now added into just about everything. It doesn't occur naturally and our food supply is pumped full of it. Definitely agree on HFCS. That stuff is pure garbage.
What always gets me is people who are anti-sodium and yet go on and on about "getting enough electrolytes". Uhhh, hello? What do you think sodium is? And then they go on and on about the human body being 70% water. Indeed, it is. Salt water. Why do you think they give saline solution intravenously?
Honestly, I think the cabal does it's best to keep us just sick enough and just healthy enough at the same time all just to fatten their pockets.
Yeah, I agree, the cabal wants us to be just well enough to do a days work, but barely. They also want the older generation to decline cognitively as early as possible, so that they can't share wisdom with their grand children.
I think white sugar might be okay, if you add it yourself, since it is quickly digested and boosts the metabolism. It is just that it doesn't have the B vitamins and minerals that the cells use up when they metabolize glucose, so you need to balance it out with other nutrient dense food. Still worse than fruit or honey, but better than convenience food.
