The crusades are one of the most maligned events in world history. Were it not for ordinary men taking up arms, the entire continent would be living under Sharia Law to this day.
Haven’t watched this but true history shows the crusades were defense not offense.

As the government mandated muslim invasion began here shortly after 9/11, I pointed it out many times that the crusades were the response to muslim agression. But Christians have been brainwashed to believe "turn the other cheek" and the crusades were atroctities perpetrated against the "peaceful" muslims. Nevermind that Jefferson sent the Marines to Tripoli put down the Barbary pirates, who were literally radical muslims motivated by their hatred of Christian Spain.
And let's not forget the jews who opened the gates of Toledo to muslim invaders.

The jews owned all the slave ships that brought African slaves to the New World.
In the USA, the slave auctions were closed on jewish holidays, because they could not get enough jews to run the auctions.
The largest percentage of any ethnic group who owned slaves in the USA were the jews. They were a small population, but a large percentage of them owned slaves.
Only around 1% of Whites owned slaves, and some free blacks also owned slaves.
It was Anthony Johnson, in the 1670's, who got the law changed about slavery in the American British colonies. Prior to him, someone could only be held as a slave for a maximum of 7 years. But he challenged the law to keep one of his slaves forever, and the British court ruled that a slave could be owned for life.
He was black, born in Africa, shipped to Virginia as a slave, and became free when he was one of the few survivors after indians raided the plantation he lived at. He became free, and began to own his own slaves. Again, he was black.
Let's also not forget all the black tribal kings in Africa, who captured and sold their own people into slavery to the arabs and jews.

More detail: The Barbary pirates were kept from pirating colonists shipping by the British navy. Once the colonists defeated the British the British navy no longer protected US shipping.
