Feel good story of the day. The Washington Post lost $77,000,000 last year and halved its readership since 2020...

I wouldn't even put it in my compost pile. It's too disgusting even for the bacteria.
I hear it is first-rate bird-cage liner!
Hmmm...if I were a bird, I would be into pooping on that.
So farβ¦
It used to be that I would hit it for free sometimes. I don't even do that anymore.
(They) can't help themselves.
Liberalism creates the exact opposite of its stated intent.
Jim Quinn.
That did actually make me feel good

Get woke, go broke. They reaped what they sowed.
Newspapers have been dying for a long time now. It's just easier to catch your news online these days and the whole "paywall" online business model only serves to annoy the shit out of everyone as they either click on the archived link or find the same news from elsewhere.
That being said, if you're competing in a dying market, the last thing you should be doing is pushing a blatantly inferior product full of lies and bullshit.
Good. Let them eat cake.
I still think Nixon was a good guy, and was destroyed by that publication.
Thanks, Unvaxxed. That just made my day.
In the words of NWA (New World Assholes?) ;)
"Fuck the WaPo coming strait from the underground..."
We can do better than that! Fire another Volly of Memes Frens!
Yeah. Rookie numbers!
I was considering buying a paper route in Orlando back in the Mid-90s until my research showed only a few % increases in circulation, meanwhile, Orlando was growing. The main thing with paper routes is reliability, and I am that. By the 2000's They were giving papers away on Mass Transit, and delivering papers minus ad inserts to hotels. The Hotel I worked in from 2001 until 2007 dropped the paper even though it was free, costs too much dumper space. LOL
The Sunday Paper used to be 4-5 inches thick, now its barely an inch, and page size shrank too. Good 'cause F the Commie Basterds.
What a nice piece of news.
I've long suspected that many of these legacy leftwing media outlets are operating at massive losses but being propped up by Cabal money.
As an example, CNN has been averaging 96,000 key demo viewers for the past few months. For those not familiar with TV lingo, key demo is the "key demographic" consisting of 25-49 year olds, the most desirable demographic to advertisers.
Ninety-six freaking thousand a night. That's it. Even Faux News (which crushes the competition in the cable news business) has pathetic numbers for the key demo category. Their top key demo show (Fox and Friends) averaged 146,000 in the key demo for the month of May.
Now, while the key demo is the most important demographic for garnering advertising dollars, total viewers does matter of course. But even then, CNN only averages about 600,000 viewers throughout the day and how many of those "viewers" are airport televisions? How does a "news network" afford to pay its anchors 8 figure salaries when pulling in a paltry 600k total viewers and 96k key demo viewers?
I'd really love to see some enterprising individual do a deep dive on the finances of cable news / print legacy media entities. I strongly suspect some irregularities would be found.
Maybe they just didn't hear it right... the reason it's swirling the drain is because of those damned naggers - you know, like "people who annoy you"
They might just need a couple of Q-tips to clean their ears out...
Here's a "Q-Tip":

They're gonna need ALL of Q-tips! They have so much gunk in their ears by listening to the puppet masters for too long.

Bezos is a trillionaire.
A trillionaire losing $77,000,000 is like a millionaire losing $77.
True but losing the narrative and the news is much worse
