Let me run this by you. Instead of "ban all guns" speak, we are getting "we have to all play nice and no more mean talk". That is the MSM talking point right now, all the way up to the Tater in Chief. Why is that? Part of their plan? They knew all the way to the top cabalers that if DJT had died yesterday that it would be "on like donkey kong!!!". More ban weapons talk would be throwing gas on the fire. So we get "let's be nice and play fair". Change my mind.

Gun control is a slow, incremental process, and they're out of time. They want full blown civil unrest and violent conflicts to take one last stab at remaining in power.

On the contrary, I think they succeeded spectacularly in distracting, for the foreseeable future, the focus of the deepstate-run news media (and hence their dwindling swath of the public) from the careening dumpster fire that is Biden and his campaign. It was another stunning coup of narrative control, even though they missed their ultimate goal by 1 centimeter. They want the focus on Trump and not Biden's advancing imbecility.
Now nobody is talking about what an unqualified, dementia-ridden, slobbering mess with the mental agility of an eggplant the PEDOTUS is....and the news media is back in full control of when or if they ever have to shift focus back to it.
