Smart enough to install a zip line for quick escape but dumb enough to keep a GPS tracked device that records meta data on a server with him while zip lining. Pfft!
Exactly what I just posted.
I definitely haven't read up on this as much as I'd like, but I've read & watched a LOT of material about the assassination attempt & didn't see SQUAT about a zipline.
It's like all the rest that put out a post proclaiming they have bombshell information on a government plot they are going to release at some time in the future.
#1, if they had this explosive information that was 100%, they would not put it out to the public until it was provided to house investigators, and they did their thing. That would be stupid.
#2 The FBI, or any government agency who pulled this off I think would be smart enough to not have geo-tracked cell phones with them. Hell I am a regular dummy, and I would know not to do that. People that operate at this level use encrypted devices, not iPhones.
It takes at least TWO PEOPLE to set up a Zip Line, and hundreds of feet of Rope so it's tied down in a Safe place....
Nobody wants to come down a Zip Line at like 75 MPH and just Crash and Burn, but that's what happens if the Angle is too sharp, and I doubt there's an open spot far enough to tie to that is outside the purview of other people.....
So, I just cannot believe this to be anywhere near Truth, and in fact, an absolute LIE....
Especially without a picture of a Zip Line from the Water Tower....
Cable, ok, sure, and we're back at looking at how much some 600 Feet of Steel Cable weighs, and the Thickness, so it doesn't break easily....
1/4 inch is the absolute smallest I'd go with for safety, but then, at 12 lbs per 100 Feet, we're looking at some 72+ Lbs, on a straight up Climb, plus a Gun, and Ammo, and other equipment....
And on a SPOOL???
Would it be tied off First, or After???
Do You tie it off, or trust a Friend to do that???
If it's tied to the Railing, you chance breaking the railing, and that's a Life Ending Chance.....
The further we go into this, the more questions there are....
"I am not the guy." - Tech Sergeant Chen, Galaxy Quest.
I do not know enough to create a solution that would work for this, but also, I could figure it out. I would look at steel cable, but also I would look at other things like teflon, kevlar, etc. Most importantly, I am not the "M" of this operation. If there is a team working on this, there is some sort of "M" character that will solve the issue.
We need serious people to be methodical and ask and answer serious questions.
P.S. I could create a "sniper setup" that would weigh probably about 15 pounds, including Doritos. No need for "72 pounds".
Remington bolt action or similar in something with oomph + flat trajectory like 6.5 PRC, etc.
On-rifle bipod.
Scope with at least 3-9 but ideally more like 5-25x50mm.
It's possible that that shooter had help, part of a team. And you wouldn't need 1/4 steel cable.high strength climbing type rope would work fine. I've done it when I was younger.and you can adjust your desent/slowing down by the equipment attached to the Zipline. That's what you hold on to to slide down.
Ok, so it's a 3 Man Team, now you need one Rope that's at the very least twice the height of the Tower....
One man alone can rappel down pretty fast, but the opposite end of the rope has to be firmly tied at the bottom, then run the lose end back through the Floor of the Water Tower, maybe.....
But on a Zip Line, it would still need to be fully secured on such a way that he could zip down one side, then untie the rope, and spend a long time collecting it, probably need some crazy long rope....
In the Army we used to rappel down some crazy Cliffs, and on the very last drop, I wasn't about to climb back up there to get the rope, and for all I know, it's probably still tied around the boulder at the top....
All I'm trying to say fren is it's not hard to do. And I haven't even mentioned kevlar rope. Very thin. Just pointing out that I can setup a line like that by myself.and I hear ya on not retrieving the rope kek.i used to rock climb. . I've done the same thing
Who is this guy and why should we trust him? Sounds like narrative seeding!
"We have tracked the black suv". Who the fuck are WE? How many letters and does it start with a C?
The C-We-A
We investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong.
Move along, "citizen".
Also what's this about a "zipline"?
Holy shit, it's Jason Bourne.
I require some proof.

Q said these people were stupid

I need some video or photos of that.
This is almost straight out of Big Lebowski:
"We dropped off the money!"
"We?!"
"We, I... the royal we, you know, the editorial... I dropped off the money, exactly as per... Look, man I've got certain information alright?"
The ringer...the "whites"...
I'm with you pal.

Zip Line???
Really???

A zip line like this would be steel cable and could be rigged to blow once used, etc. I presume there could be some way to slow descent with friction.
But I agree that it still sounds like Jason Bourne/James Bond shit.
P.S. That also does not mean it didn't happen. We'll need to investigate, just like with everything else.

Reading the headline I knew who this would be. He's everywhere and he knows everyone. Every one tells him things
Yeah thatβs the guy!
