Take note Utah, now that you have the dishonor of hosting the 2034 Winter Olympics. If you give the Olympic Committee too much control, you will losing millions upon millions of taxpayer money along with giving the US a black eye.
Or post Great Awakening we dissolve the Olympics committee and as this comment I copy-pasted from Youtube puts it:
Just make a permenant village in Greece for Olympic games and stop this useless rotation of hosts and corruption that it bring.
Greece deserves to be the permanent Olympics host; It's where the games originated from! It would bring a constant stream of revenue to the country to host it there
Think of all the avoided emissions that come with all these countries building billion dollar Olympic venues. Most of them sit and rot after their 2 weeks of use. But Muh climate.....
It really would make sense. With the proceeds they could build world class permanent facilities and associated transportation and lodging and perhaps even extensive training areas so athletes could train right there if they wanted between the games.
Greece makes the most sense for a lot of reasons. Countries wanted the tourism that came with it, but clearly if this is the direction they're going to go with I don't think nearly as many people will be down with it.
Omph πππ
I guess that happens when your biggest fans would be the ones who keep up with the Jones.
Inflation and interest rates on mortgages credit cards etc means they got nothing left.
Anecdotal and slightly related evidence, but I have business colleagues who recently traveled to France for our company and they rented an electric vehicle and hated the experience. Thereβs nowhere to charge them so they get stuck throughout the city. Very stressful looking for a charging station in a foreign country.
Just another thing that could be ruining the experience.
Traveling faggots like using public transportation though. If there's one thing they love more than EVs is owning nothing and being happy passing through homeless to get into their super modern amazeballs trains that connect to the bus system (hopefully electric!) so they can take 4X as long to get somewhere versus a car (and smell the BO, sweat and armpits when sitting during summer when moving around into their 6 car public sardine cans)
The Olympics committee screwed Savannah in the 1996 Olympics. Tybee Island built the venues to host beach volleyball. The IOC decided to move the beach volleyball team to Atlanta. Savannah spent a lot of money to court the IOC and all they got for it was sailing. No one came to see sailing because sailing was far out off the coast. The only way to see it was on TV. Most places the Olympics are held wind up losing billions of dollars. Many countries have lost money hosting the Olympics, with some cities struggling for decades to pay off the debt. According to Investopedia, every Olympics since 1960 has exceeded its budget by an average of 172%.
All the students were kicked out of the dorms and housing in Atlanta and nearbyβ¦ ga tech. Uga. Kennesaw. Tough titty. The olympiads needed them. People planned to rent rooms for 1000/night but that mostly never happened. The city spent millions. A company called oβmt Olympus pizzaβ was forced to close
crazy. I was "safe" in Marietta at the time. It's weird as a life comes flowing back how close I was to so many events. And how I know a few insider details that most people still just proselytize about.
Not even watching from afar. Completely disinterested in God hating communist scum. There are athletes who I would like to support and events that a part of me wants to watch but I simply will not. Now that I know they're trying to push cashless, I'm even more enraged. I've watched 0 events and that is not an exaggeration. Feels good to be in control of yourself.
Haven't been to Paris in a long time so I can't say whether this is true or not, but I was just in San Francisco a few weeks ago, and after reading literally YEARS of posts about how it's totally dead, poop everywhere, etc. I have to say it was almost exactly the same as how it was 10 years ago, I was in the same neighborhoods, the same restaurants, the same everything, SF actually changed less over the last ten years than where I'm living now has. Again, not saying this post about Paris might not be true, but use discernment.

It would be the most sustainable approach, LOL.

Where would you create the permanent Winter Olympics?
Switzerland?
Canada?
Italy?
Norway or Sweden?
Russia ππππππππ€π€π€
I could see that working actually
Antarctica.
And dispense with the opening and closing ceremonies. That used to mean the proud athletes marching into the stadium with their country's flag.
Around 1980 they started the pagan symbolism with satanic themes.
Yes, I noticed the change that far back, and talked about it with a friend who was also awake at that time.
I have ignored the Olympics faithfully since then.
Utah, Mitt Romney is a U.S. Senator, was your first black eye, 2034 will be here shortly
Mitt Romney isn't a black eye, he's a non-healing, infected open wound.
Mixed with cancer.
Paris, donβt worry, all those immigrants that you allowed in will spend βyour taxβ dollars that they get.
Nice win.

Poetic. Justice.

So, anyways...

I was in the plaza when the bomb went off, I had just left work downtown very late

Cracked had a great article talking about this in 2012.
It's number 3 on this list, but all of it is worth reading.
Man, Cracked was great before they went woke...

How can we tell from that picture? That could be 7am before things open up.
It's like a trump rally. Look at all the empty seats

Unfortunately, pretty much every time you go to a stadium or arena in the US its all cashless & ticketless. I hate it!!!
This ends when we stop giving AF, not sooner.
Did you post this on PDW? I have an Olympics folder over there, and I want to add it to it.
PDW?
Found the new guy. π

And it's going into August, when many people in France take their vacations...
"Everything woke turns to shit."
Trump proven right ... again!
Los Angeles 2028... Bail..! Now..! ~{°‘°}~
Now watch them to host yet more migrants in all these hotels at an expense of the French people.
Next yellow vests wave is coming.
Great to know, thanks for posting.
