Market indicator pro tip: When the CEO of Intel starts praying... Buckle up. (media.greatawakening.win) 💥 BANK COLLAPSE 💥

In my opinion:

I think the Intel CEO had other reasons to be praying. Intel has very serious problems unfolding that may lead to their most recent two generations of desktop i9 / i7 product ( possibility of laptop and server getting into the mix too) getting recalled or patching microcode to run significantly below advertised spec.

If this plays out, a class action from consumers and potentially lawsuits from system integrators whom would likely also have have higher than expected system warranty claims may transpire. Also the upcoming gen for Intel is still looking anemic compared to competition, discrete graphics division is appearing to be inching closer to shutdown, the fabs are not price competitive with Intel's current designs compared to amd's price per unit cost at TSMC. All of that together means Intel will have a hard time selling their next gen CPU at a competitive price to performance point while still making a profit.

I think I'm going to go Occam's razor and assume that a morning tweet today has much more to do with Intel stocks being down about 10% right out of the gate after the overnight markets stopped trading...... Just like practically every other major stock.

We are starting the largest market crash of our lifetimes. Quite possibly in history.

I would not say significantly under spec; in fact, they were shoving higher voltages through their components than they needed to be. Performance appears to be mostly close to the same, although it's tough to say. GN has some videos on it I'll probably look at soon.

Of course, the problems happening are even more than just the amount of electricity being jammed into the components as we can see with low power laptop units having the issues.

The patching of the microcode is less of an issue than the fact that it took like two years to do it, and they will not honor warranties or issue recalls.

This is on the heels where the Ryzen architecture had a REALLY good competitive run with the X3D CPUs, and did so at lower energy costs and cooler thermals than their competition, who were also underperforming at higher price points from the start.

Class action lawsuits need to happen, and I sure as hell would be signing up for it too. Intel's bottom line needs to hurt for this, because rushing products like this every year or two just to stay ahead of their competition (who, IIRC, was the victim of espionage from either Nvidia or Intel to begin with 5-10 years back? Don't remember) is not feasible when you don't have your consumers' backs.

I wonder if they set it higher for benchmarks and then someone forgot to update the release models? Either way, just set voltage manually and you're fine.

They are still failing even when underclocked.

It's not that simple.

I have seen and heard zero evidence of that. I have seen and heard of zero people who run manual voltage settings have issues. And also zero people running stock settings who have actually seen degradation. The only reports, with pictures of before and after scores, of degradation I have seen are users who used Auto OC, or manually set the ratios but used Auto Voltage. This info coming from large FB groups I'm in. Just everyday users not some YouTuber cherry picking things for clicks. This is being highly blown out of proportion. An update will fix it. Intel rarely makes these mistakes. Sure, they, are thirsty, whatever, V8s are thirsty, it's the American way to hotrod it to the limit.

Company I work for has had to RMA hundreds of 13tb and 14th gen Intel laptops before their EOL (End Of Life).

Some are overheating. Others are running at super slow speeds such as 0.28 or 0.66 GHz at random.

As a percentage sold, what would your guess be? Are these K models? Laptops as a rule have cooling issues as it is so that would only exacerbate the issue. But just from what I've seen on the desktop side, only users using the Auto OC and/or Auto Voltage with manual ratios have seen any degradation. Nobody who set their own voltage in BIOS has any trouble, and nobody with a non-K or a K that is at stock settings, seems to have any trouble. At least, none have reported it and showed their cinebench scores before and after. Regardless, Intel makes products in the US and AMD sold out to Taiwan, so I'll stay Intel.

▲ 1 ▼
– Ecl1pseGST 1 point 1 year ago +1 / -0

I think it's pretty overblown. Intel hasn't had a single issue with microcode or chipset drivers in 2 decades. AMD chipset drivers are routinely terrible at launch and they were causing literal fires at launch last time, and somehow they stay afloat. (Console deals and their ownership of ATI is the main reason) AMDs upcoming generation just barely eclipses 14th gen in Instructions Per Clock, 15th gen will beat it handily. AMD has higher multithreaded performance, but, seeing as a 6 core is the least anyone sells now, that's irrelevant for 99% of customers.

▲ 3 ▼
– ThePowerOfPrayer 3 points 1 year ago +3 / -0

Nah. It's a big deal.

The 13th and 14th gen Intel processors are failing, sometimes as little as 6 months after purchase.

Processors normally last for decades unless the motherboard or power supply fries them.

Also, Intel has had to disable multithreading on older chips due to security issues, but most of the enthusiasts had already moved on to the next gen months before that happened.

▲ 1 ▼
– Ecl1pseGST 1 point 1 year ago +1 / -0

I've been following it and am part of several FB groups and the overwhelming majority of folks answering surveys have had no issues, running manual voltage settings or stock speed. Those who used the "Auto OC" in XTU have seen degradation, I have only heard of some claimed failures and mostly "my cousin's uncle's brother said" stories. Not a single picture. Nowhere near as many as R9s that burnt up a few months ago. Which I saw a lot of, with pictures.

Nobody cared about Spectre because it was an irrelevant issue, totally hypothetical, that was never actually taken advantage of by any real hackers. IMHO it was a backdoor that someone accidentally let word of slip out.

There will never be a rapture, secret or otherwise. God wins. Here.

The only people that'll be swept away will be the wicked just like in the days of Noah. Those that are in Christ which is symbolic of the ark, will be safe from fiery destruction.

The belief in the rapture was a completely fringe idea and eschatological position and virtually unheard of in the church up until a couple hundred years ago with the publication of the Schofield reference Bible which was the first Bible of its kind with footnotes and explanations of difficult passages. Unfortunately this Bible had this fringe position in it and it was widely adopted by pastors and seminaries and became the leading view of the end times within a few dozen years.

In my opinion it's the greatest lie the devil ever told because Evangelical Christians that think they are going to be yeetted to heaven whenever things get bad enough aren't typically fighting to keep things from getting bad and they're certainly not building and planning for generations to come. Basically no one polishes brass on a sinking ship.

It causes many to practically ignore the great commission and neutered the modern church.

I'll end with God's favorite Bible verse that appears more times in Scripture than any other... This is God the Father speaking to Jesus..

"Sit at my right hand while I make all of your enemies your footstool"

Interesting.

I have a lifelong friend who has always been very religious. He and his wife were born again about 20 years ago.

We were having a discussion and basically he's black pilled on everything. He said his faith will get him through and he won't worry about "all the nonsense". Such as the Constitution, the country, illegals, Trump, ECT...

My retort was "I don't think HE wanted us to sit on our ass and wait for HIM to come. ". " I think we have to work to make sure he comes"

He just doesn't see it

The proof is in the pudding the KJV has produced more fruit than all the other versions combined all your great revivals have ended in America since the new version came out except for Sunday and Graham who both used KJVs well Graham was quoted once as saying when I want results I use the KJV the men behind the translation though the may have not all been straight doctrinally they were some of the holiest and God fearing men and they were very very intelligent many of your new versions were had unsaved reprobates and perverts translating the bible whatever may be said about King James whether true or false he DID NOT TRANSLATE the KJV because the KJV is the original language direct from God the KJV is the only version that has preservation and has supporters who know it is pure and without error you will not find this with any other version finally though lazy Christians claim it is hard to READ it has been scientifically proven to be the easiest version to UNDERSTAND there is something about the King's English that is very clear and to the point the English launguage was at its best at this time in history and is better than Greek Hebrew Aramaic Septuagint

Dr James White has written probably what's the best book on this subject. He's also done countless debates against the position that you're holding that are available on YouTube.

The King James Bible also contains a code that is censored in other versions for example word of God is found seven times and most high seven times the Word of God or its alternative word of the Lord is Jesus himself Shiloh the capital of Israel before Jerusalem meaning Messiah is found 33 times the age at which Jesus died Shiloh was destroyed if one adds the 33 times Shiloh is mentioned to the 667 times Jerusalem is mentioned in the Old Testament one gets 700 times the capital of Israel is mentioned in the Old Testament Jerusalem is mentioned 144 times in the NT as in the 144000 of Revelation this is not so in modern versions the New Internation Version censors the word Hell 14 times from Gods original word the KJV in our house we call the NIV the HIV

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– Datasinc [S] 3 points 1 year ago +3 / -0

Straw-man fallacy.

Did I at any point elevate the NIV? No I did not. Amongst the Bible scholars and translation experts it's considered a less than idea translation. I put it right in the same category as the message Bible.

Now why don't you check out that book I referred you to or look up "James White KJV only debate" on YouTube. He's covered everything. He is one of the leading textural transmission, textual variants, and translation experts in the world whose fluent in Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic.

As far as literal word for word translations my preference is the NASB followed by the ESV.

For middle ground between word for word and thought for thought The CSB would be my choice.

But I often run my Bible studies with a parallel Bible with several translations looking at the same verses. I can tell you there's quite a bit you would miss if you were only reading the original KJV. And there's a lot you'll also miss if you don't go back to the original languages.

But KJV onlyism is silly. I can understand if you only wanted to read the Bible in the original written languages but that's not your position at all.

Anyways I don't think this conversation's going to be productive any longer. Have a great day.

I have always thought the rapture theory was odd because it insinuates that Christ will return both a second, and third time. But the Bible says his second arrival will be for the 1000 year kingdom.

The belief in the rapture was a completely fringe idea and eschatological position and virtually unheard of in the church up until a couple hundred years ago with the publication of the Schofield reference Bible which was the first Bible of its kind with footnotes and explanations of difficult passages

While the specific term "rapture" as understood in modern pre-tribulation contexts might not have been explicitly used by early church fathers, many early Christian writings reflect an expectation of a sudden, transformative event involving the return of Christ. For instance:

  • Irenaeus (130-202 AD): In his work "Against Heresies," Irenaeus speaks of believers being taken up, which aligns with rapture-like themes. He also emphasizes the idea of the resurrection of the just before the final tribulation.
  • Hippolytus (170-235 AD): In his writings, he refers to the church being taken away from the world during the time of the Antichrist.
  • Cyprian (200-258 AD): He speaks of God’s people being taken away to avoid the trials and tribulations of the end times.

Apocalyptic Literature: The expectation of Christ’s return and the accompanying transformation of believers is evident in apocalyptic literature. The "Shepherd of Hermas" (early 2nd century) depicts a vision of the faithful being protected and delivered from tribulation, resonating with the idea of a rapture.

Scriptural Basis: Several New Testament passages form the scriptural basis for the rapture doctrine:

  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: Paul speaks of believers being "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:51-52: Paul describes a transformation of believers at the last trumpet, which many interpret as a reference to the rapture.

Post-Apostolic Era to Pre-Millennialism: During the post-apostolic era, the church grappled with interpreting eschatological prophecies. The rise of amillennialism and postmillennialism in later centuries led to a variety of views on the end times, often overshadowing pre-millennial and rapture-related themes.

  • John Nelson Darby: In the 19th century, Darby systematized the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine, integrating it with dispensationalism. This brought a renewed focus on the imminence of Christ’s return and the distinct role of the church.

    • Schofield Reference Bible: The publication of the Schofield Reference Bible (1909) with its comprehensive notes further popularized pre-tribulation rapture theology, making it accessible to a broader audience.

Let's not forget Enoch and Elijah were both raptured.

Well I don't really care what people have to say about an upcoming tribulation that are writing about it only a couple of generations after it actually happened.

The seven-headed 10 horned beast was clearly indicative of the Roman empire. Rome had seven hills with 10 governors. In 70 AD Rome's armies surrounded Jerusalem and started to lay siege to it. The Christians who were familiar with their scriptures saying "when you see the abomination of desolation surrounding the holist of holies fleet of the mountains" we're completely ready when Rome's army inexplicably stop their siege and left. While the rest of Jerusalem was celebrating these Christians packed up and headed towards the mountains. Rome's army just came back a few days later and continued the siege eventually killing everyone.

During the siege there were all sorts of crazy things going on from secular accounts like histories of Josephus. There was a comet hanging in the sky over the city like a sword. There were eclipses, earthquakes, swarms of bugs, and of course cannibalism inside the city as food ran out. The streets were literally running with blood.

Remember before it's crucifixion Jesus said this generation shall not pass to all these things take place.

That generation passed.

Darbyism is absolutely unbiblical and bonkers.
