I'm not arguing Trump lost, but in my opinion his debate performance sucked big time.
I also remember the debates with Hillary. The first debate was much like this one where the winner was questionable. The second debate was a slam dunk where Trump owned Hillary.
We know there will be another debate, and we know the debate that is closest to election will have biggest impact. Is Trump setting up Harris for next debate?
I hope there will be another debate. Maaaaaaaybe Trump was wanting her to gain some confidence, agree to a second debate, and then obliterate her closer to the election. Cat and mouse.
I can't say either way since it's the middle of the day here in Japan and I'm not gonna watch the debate at work. I'll have to wait until I get home this evening to watch it.
Some on here have theorized that Trump thew the debate to a degree, to avoid crushing Kamala in order for the left to lock her in as their candidate and not replace her with someone like Michelle. I dunno.
If she feels she won this one (which she certainly must), it's incomprehensible that her handlers wouldn't have her just drop the mike and be done with it.
Another debate gives Trump a chance to come in and, instead of taking every piece of bait she drops, getting flustered, and losing his cool with rambling responses all over the map, to come roaring back with the best, calmest, most focused performance of his life.
They said before debate that this most likely was it, no more debates. I think Trump is horrible at debates. He repeats too much. He does not explain their lies in normie detail. He never defends J6 or election fraud the right way, even though last night he did slightly better on election fraud.
He really needs Vance & Rfkjr to pick up his slack
So why wasn't Trump prepared for that? Honestly, I voted for him twice in a state where he didn't have a chance of winning. I like him as an outsider (in theory).
I'm not a shill. I'm a dude who watched a very strange debate where Trump was entirely off his game. He was rattled by something. I'm surprised more people aren't theorizing why.

I can't believe she would agree to a second debate after not Bidening this one. With her, the less said, the better.
perhaps... let's hope she lets this get to her head so much so that she agrees to another debate.
It looks like she wants one.

Amazing how her campaign NEVER mentioned a 2nd debate until verifying that she didn't Biden this one.

And maybe to lure Kamala in to commit to a 2nd debate.

I like how you think.

Wonder how he's won, even according to left-wing outlets, every single one he's been in until last night, then...
He must be doing something right ;)
That's my recollection as well of 2016. I was very down after the first debate. He hadn't even got started.
Yeah this was a disaster. He sounded like little Marco when he kept throwing the same border/immigrant situation into every response.
He was bad. To the point where maybe he was directed to lose? That wasn't the Trump we expected. He seems tired. That was depressing.
Hmmm only four comments in 3 years, interesting
Very interesting. Comes out of sleeping just to leave these shill comments 🤣
"An old account I forgot existed."
magically remembers the login info for this specific account right after the debate 🤣🤡

Oh wow yeah I must be a shill and not a guy who just signed in on an old account I forgot existed.
I'm just a dude. We all saw the debate. Play pretend all you like, that was not what any of us wanted out of Trump tonight.
There, now it's 6 comments or so. What is the point of this site if not to genuinely discuss things like the debate?
Are you implying im on here to sow discord? Why?
"that was not what any of us wanted out of Trump tonight."
Username checks out.
Because like it or not, that's exactly what it appears to be you are doing.
Shill or not, you're a faggot
You try debating 3 people at once and see how you would do.
Very obvious she had been given the questions before and practiced her answers.
Yeah no were all aware it was a 3v1.

Probably indigestion.
You every try to debate someone while you have heartburn?
Or is this a play at chess?
