I want you to imagine that you're the parent of one of the children that was trafficked, and that your child spent close to a decade being sexually abused. And that someone told you (President Trump, no less!) that he knew all along that it was happening, and even had irrefutable evidence showing the people responsible. But that he allowed it to continue, for years, because he wanted to allow the criminals to do even worse things, for longer so they could incriminate themselves more.
