Judge Juan Merchan signals in his written decision that President Trump will face neither jail time nor penalties at his New York sentencing next week, but instead sentence President Trump to a conditional discharge, in which a case is closed without jail time, a fine or probation.

The sentencing completes the trial. Now it can be appealed.
And Mercunt came be disbarred and his daughter put in prison with "Transwomen"
And when does Congress meet to confirm Pres. Trump's election victory, hmmm?
Could a bogus "conviction" be the pretext the Dems need to deny him that vote?
I smell something stinky alright. Will the dems have the gonads to begin some crap to keep Trump out of the White House? Who will light the fire? Aunt Nancy or Uncle Chuck? I'll get nervous when those two clowns begin grabbing microphones and begging for "reform" in how the President is chosen. If it isn't to their liking then that will send them into orbit and begin railing for a new way to select the President, Constitution be darned!
January 6, 2025. Before the sentencing.
Good. I could just hear pantywaist Dems speaking on the House floor, "But he's a convicted CRIMINAL!! We can't put him in the White House!"
This meshes nicely with the recent rumors - about Merchan - and GITMO - and a rope.
He needs both, quickly.
Make it a prickly rope... Cause Kharma.
He ded?
He ded.
So basically itβs Dropping the case without dropping the case
Dropping the case while asserting that he's guilty in hopes that they can play an impeachment game again.
Does he have to be present? I could also see this as a setup for assassination.. which I really hope is not true
I read where he can be remote during the sentencing.
10 days before Inauguration. ... 10 days.... darnkess.
Nice catch.
Just today, a liberal troll on Truth Social was foaming at the mouth because "Trump will spend his second term in jail."
The leftwing fools only read the headlines or they simply don't know how to read.
a conviction for a non-disclosure agreement which was never any basis for any indictment or any trial or any conviction . . .
except he was Trump . . .
but they have gone after others too for their opinions, will that finally stop too?!?
"a conviction for a non-disclosure agreement which was never any basis for any indictment or any trial or any conviction . . ."
That's the part that has me continually shaking my head. Just exactly what crime is the left accusing DJT of having committetd?
Fukc your face!

Take that to the Supreme Court immediately and get it quashed. Merchan is bound and determined to make a name for himself at President Trump's expense. It needs to end.
Well, according to realrawnews, Merchan was hung yesterday at Gitmo. It will be interesting to see where this goes if that is true.
I know, I know, rrnews is just a joke!
I'm not a lawyer, but is it possible for Trump to refuse this "sentence"? E.g., if there are "conditions" attached to it, what if Trump refuses the conditions? It seems clear that Merchan has developed an allergy to actually sentencing him with jail time, a fine, or probation terms. If Trump can refuse this "conditional dismissal," where is Marchan left to go? Full dismissal? (Just thinking out loud.)
Sounds like a trap of some kind
It's all fraud anyway, no matter how it goes.
Let me guess the "conditions"...
Just pointing out that it's a good thing Trump can appeal the conviction and likely it will be overturned.
As a convicted felon, Trump may not be able to own firearms, or even vote in some states.
More time and resources wasted
What makes it conditional?

So he gets the "π" back?
This is a ridiculous finding. Trump should be NOT GUILTY. That is truly the only finding. Why should he be subject to:
A "conditional discharge" in legal terms means a sentence where a defendant is found guilty of a crime but is not formally convicted, instead being released under the condition that they must fulfill specific requirements (like attending counseling or community service) within a set timeframe; if they successfully meet these conditions, their criminal record will not show a conviction, but if they fail, the court can then impose a full sentence including jail time.
So much for no deals. And away we go.
C'mon, little doomer! Remember, you are watching a movie πΈπ
