He’s high up in cyber security. While they were out to dinner, he told my friend that some kind of event was going to take place by March 12 and it would be important for her to have cash at the ready as she won’t be able to use her cards.. I asked her to question him further with a new set of questions as she’s not really astute about the times we live in. Because he’s high up the chain in cyber security, he says he has a good reason to warn his family. He didn’t go in to detail. Just passing it along.

WHAT I DONT GET is what use is cash. I cant think of 1 petrol station or grocery store that could handle everyone using cash. Would make the "toilet paper" thing look like childsplay. BARTER with neighbours maybe, BUT most truthers are way better stocked than their neighbors so probably not a good idea! PS Most checkout personel these days cant add 2 +2 .
Those petrol and grocery places would figure it out real quickly if cash was all that worked.
You betcha.
...take $20 bill, put in register, "you're ready on pump 1".
Oh no, we're out of quarters, do you mind nickels?
Better stocked doesn't necessarily mean fully stocked. Just another resource which, if needed, you will be glad you have.
It's the only possible option.
It's not perfect, but all we have in that situation.
Just a few weeks extra should suffice and safer than battling it out at the store in my view.
We all should do what we think is best....
I’ve known her my whole life, but have never met him. We live in different cities. He is her new son in law and was just passing along something he knows. I don’t know his title, but I know the southern city they live in has many resources for cybersecurity, including companies, schools, and government agencies. He’s pretty high up, I hear.
Those commenting negatively are not worth your time. You do not have to justify what you heard - we only need to look around and see anything can happen. In fact, holding cash is a very wise thing to do at present. Thanks for passing this on. Stay safe.
Thanks for the heads up!
Always best to prepare for the worst and hope for the best, turbulent times.
Nope. I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend. None of them ever pan out. If the information doesnt come from a direct source then its not valid.
Keeping cash on hand is always good advice.
Their's nothing to lose, I keep cash anyways,so will forget the date and not worry.
Friends of Dave Ramsey?
He is a cash only guy, that has a good system for helping people get out of debt. I used to listen to his radio show.
Yeah, I hear you. I’m just passing along what she told me. Look, she’s not political at all. She doesn’t really grasp anything I tell her. But she mentioned this at the end of a chat last night on the phone. I have known her my whole life. This is her daughter’s husband.
Look around ! Things are not good and as these EOs come out, the left are going to lose their minds. There is nothing wrong with preparing for the unexpected and keeping cash on hand is what any wise person would do. Do you know how long it takes for panic to set in if the power grid goes down? Around 12 hours. After this time the A grade predators come out and you won’t want to be anywhere near an atm or grocery store then. Q is telling us to be prepared.
QDrop # 35
POTUS will be well insulated/protected on AF1 and abroad (specific locations classified) while these operations are conducted due to the nature of the entrenchment. It is time to take back our country and make America great again. Let us salute and pray for the brave men and women in uniform who will undertake this assignment to bring forth peace, unity, and return power to the people.
There is more, but most frens are aware of this Q drop.
Excellent
So, by March 1st
I wonder how much? A week's worth, and assuming you are gassed up and have a week's worth of groceries?
I'm ready now, but it never hurts to get a little more.
Maybe...10 days worth?
That’s one of the things I told her to ask him. How much? How long? I’ll get more information. She said he told her our cards won’t work.
I'm keeping smaller bills on hand. It could be difficult to make change. 5s and 10s.
I keep 100-200 ones to make change when I have a garage sale. Never deposit small bills at the bank unless they're crumbling rotten.
Forget about coin - notes is best. Jump on the prepper sites although most have probably bugged out by now.
It won't take very long for people to realize that paper is worthless.
Cash is King. Cards will be useless in an emergency.
Cash would be king for about a day before there's not enough to go around and people realize it's not worth the paper it's printed on.
when the cards won't work, people will go to the bank or atm. there will be enough.
Then you should have been listening to/reading the boards for decades where stacking silver or gold is for insurance against the future. Preferably in 1/2 or 1 oz amounts.
Sure, but that's not what we were talking about.
It’s still cash.
People are going to assume it's a local/ temporary issue, maybe specific to only certain card issuers or processors. This will be so that whoever is on the run, can no longer run. It may even be a particular individual card being used that triggers the outage.
Shocking that she heard that and didn't immediately think to ask for how long.
They were out to dinner two nights ago with the whole family, and he just kind of leaned over and told her to have cash by March 12th. She’s a lovely person but not the sort who thinks a whole lot about things. She asked him why—that’s a start—!! And he just said that our cards will not work. I think she was reluctant to drill him there, at dinner, although I certainly would have!
One note, don’t just have cash, have MONEY.

By March 12th.
Right... but I am making sure I amaheadof that.
i've read an estimate for general disaster preparation to have ~$700 per person to cover food, gas, a motel 6 in case you're unable to stay in your house. I guess I won't be making any bank deposits for a while.
I keep a small cache of gold, silver, and cash just in case.
Ditto,
Now if you do, do you know where you can cash it in? Have you been there physically? I would go there with say 10 oz Silver and get some cash. Suss out what they are giving out or not. You can always buy back your stack once emergency is over. Remember. You hang onto gold and use Silver as an emergency.
No, I have not. I will have to make preparations for this. Thanks for the input.
You’re most welcome. Another tip is do not transmit what you are doing. Especially if you have pre-teens or teens. They tend to talk with friends - they don’t need to know. If you are married, the only ones that need to know is each other, no one else. Seems drastic? If SHTF you will be pleased that only your and spouse know about it.
Exactly.
Was your friends informant perhaps Fanni Willis's father?
Thank you so much and God bless
Datefagging. No.
Not 2 weeks? I am disappointed! Kek
which agency does he work for
I know her really well—most of my life. I haven’t met her son in law but have seen pictures of him from weddings, etc. He looks to be a pretty straight up guy. Where he lives, there are a lot of cyber security agencies and fed gov contractors in that field.
Thanks, always good to have cash on hand.
Never hurts to keep some cash reserve.
This the same asshole that told everyone there was gonna be food shortages back in 2021 or that there was gonna be a credit reset in 2020?
This is of course a good idea to have cash on-hand. That is a good thing to remind us about.
However, as someone who does cyber security I've never heard of anyone being "high up the chain in cyber security". What chain?
Maybe he works as a CISO or a CIO in some company, or maybe he is some director at CISA, but there is no chain. Sounds like he was exaggerating his importance to impress someone. Similar to how those idiots talk themselves up on the "dates" that OMG films. I'd take that part with a grain of salt, but still get cash because regardless of that that guy said - it will still be useful and you are not out anything other than pennies of interest you might lose by pulling the cash out.
