Actually not all federal funding. It states they must pause grants that may be impacted by Trump's EOs relating to woke, DEI, green new deal, gender ideology, foreign aid. That is not a halt to everything, but it is exactly what we need. Biden snuck woke into everything he could so it might impact some programs we wouldn't expect.

A lot of people are going to get a HUGE wake up call from this. I run a decent sized business so I just went down this big rabbit hole about all this insurance stuff for my dozens of employees who I buy insurance for.
One of the biggest spends on this is public health care. So many people, something like 45 million, get their health insurance at a YUGE discount because of these grants and loans. The average person on the public health insurance marketplace pays $150 a month for their insurance, but it costs the government $1200-$1500 to buy that insurance for them - the discount is based on income. If you make less than $100k you get a big discount, almost 70-90%.
So even for my business, I get a federal grant for my employees to cover their insurance. I get a 10% discount for each employee, so my cost will go up by 10% across the board on their insurance, which is crazy.
But, for all those people who are out there not working and leeching off the government, it's time to cough up and get a job to pay for that money.
This will save the government something like $22 BILLION dollars.
