The work ethic to find the facts for oneself and the resistance to the temptation to cut corners by following the crowd or trusting the experts
The emotional security to stand apart for the truth and to avoid relying on virtue signaling for social acceptance
The integrity to admit that we were duped during the first couple weeks of covid, and the willingness to recognize that covid wasn’t much to fear and was overhyped by official malfeasance and medical malpractice
The human mind is a rationalization machine, and more intelligent minds are more sophisticated machines. If an intelligent mind is manipulated into accepting bad data indiscernibly, it can create complex and convoluted webs to make sense of the nonsense. Intelligent minds need to ground themselves in the Way, the Truth, and the Life before going on mental tangents lest their powers take them in wrong directions. In a based mind rationalization can be used to justify high character.
