TrumpWon17 is right. I used to have to fly to the Left Coast once or twice a year, on business (and I live in PA, so it was a long flight.).
Now I'm retired, and haven't flown -- or wanted to -- since.

I got a real I.D. years ago and so far nothing negative has happened because of it and I can and will fly. Next election cycle I will be allowed to vote.
We recently discovered that our IDs are “Real IDs”.
We’re also have seen nothing adverse…. yet
We are still considering not having them.
I thought you could fly with another form of ID, like a passport?
Some people will take this as "see these things aren't so bad then", I see the opposite. I don't know that I even have an issue with Real IDs, just not down with "nothing adverse has happened yet" hand waving away.

I passed on a Real ID driver’s license in my state. So far, it’s still an option. But, I’ve had a passport for decades, so the Real ID is pointless to me.
Yes, You can just show your passport for domestic travel.
If you have a Texas Drivers license, then you already have one. Many states snuck this in on us.
This planet was slowly being turned into a prison. And we’re being forced to do things we don’t want to do so we can get the imaginary green cotton with numbers on it. This cotton turned to plastic. and will soon be a tatoo.

I believe you can still use your passport if you have one. Furthermore, if people need real ID now, let's make them show it to vote too.
