Turns out he had a bowling alley built into the WH during Watergate. Wore a "Checkered shirt" with a "Don Carter" Ball. Don Carter? The "Checkered" shirt part, I suspect was a comm tied to Nixon's original good/bad press relationship.

The "Checkers" speech was a classic on TV. I saw it in an old TV film show in a classroom at UNC-Chapel Hill in the early 1970s.
I sometimes think about parallel universe where they just tell people the truth and they handle it or take vaccine if they are too brainwashed which kills them in 5 years..
