Cut off social welfare programs. Many countries won't let you in other than a tourist visa with an enforced end date, if you cannot prove you won't be a drain on their social services programs.
We need to cut off social services to many Americans as well. I've met too many Americans getting lifetime disability who could actually work. I'm a senior now, but have several disabilities, but I found work I could do.
Trouble is people can draw almost as much disability as they can earn working. Why work for 2K month when you can collect 1,500? They figure out they are only working for the 500 difference.

No. If they're illegal, they're illegal. We can rally around the farmers and help them with harvest if need be. This is maybe the best reason of all to focus on smaller, family-run farms that don't rely on illegal labor.

When President Trump made this statement today he specifically referred to people who had been here 20 or more years. Farm laborers, maids, restaurant help, etc.. It is a totally separate group of people who have worked hard, raised families and definitely do not deserve to be treated the same as the types who have come here illegally in the past 4 four years.

I think it’s a play by Trump to make it known that he would be willing to do that, only for the overwhelming majority to say ‘No’.
