My jabbed normie friends who avoid discussing current events with the "Conspiracy Theorist" felt the need to tell me that Trump is going to screw this up (i.e. MSN narrative).
There is a video floating around, I can't find it today, but I watched it yesterday, Trump sitting at a conference where he explained that after killing Soleimani, the Iranian government called Trump to warn him they intended to strike a base in Iraq. They were going to intentionally miss the target. They were trying to save face with the Iranian people and avoid looking weak against the USA.
Hopefully it will just be blown off as letting Iran show they are doing something about the U.S. attack, and no further escalation will happen. (who's to say it wasn't deep state assets in Iran trying to escalate the situation?)

I heard about an attempted missile strike in Qatar, but not Iraq. The Iranians gave the US and Qatar a couple of hours notice before launching. Basically, it was a show to save face. No real damage would be done because they were shot down by air defense.
