after he unhooked the line, i rolled my window down, and asked him if HE was the climate change we'd been hearing so much about. the brotha cracked up, as did i, and we had a happier day as a result.
Or the tanker trucks of CO2 that are keeping the soda machines filled up? They actually have signs on them that say some venting of gasses is normal. If only people were truly educated.
My favorite is to call them out as monsters. What adult goes to every classroom in America to "scare" children into submission with Gore's movie. Or, in the case of Greta Thunberg, scare a child into believing the earth cannot make it another 10 years.
Basically, when these people couldn't get adults to go along with their scam, they scared children. After realizing their tactics on this issue, it's pretty easy to believe the adrenachrome stuff.
My favorite climate fact is that the Earth was 20°C (36°F) warmer during the time of the dinosaurs and life thrived, palm trees were growing in Antarctica. But now apparently 1.5°C will kill us all because pedophiles said so.
And carbon dioxide levels were like 1500 ppm, resulting in massive amounts of plant growth which were able to support herds of 100 ton animals running all over the place. Now the largest land animal is maybe the African elephant at 10 tons. Plus plants are far more efficient with water when there are high concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere so a lot of the currently arid and desert areas would be full of life.
O2 can also be deadly if the environment is too saturated. So can any other gas. I get the tongue in cheek point of the post but this one just makes my brain mad.
Current level is about 420 PPM, humans can tolerate up to 1000 PPM before any effects are noticed. OSHA limits exposure at 5000 PPM to 8 hours or less per day. Plant more trees dammit!
