it’s not just truckers, delivery drivers for Door Dash, Spark, etc, also have drivers who cannot speak English, much less read it. Any and all DMV’s need to test that drivers can read and speak our language. How many car accidents are caused by this problem???

I’m on the road a lot, driving between homes in Florida and Western New York. You can tell the highways are lawless and that truckers, the ones once heralded for their understanding of the road, are no longer at the wheel. I decided to fly home next week. Our last drive in the spring was literally a perilous journey. Between truck drivers who had no idea what they were doing and the people who now drive like they’re in a video game, and terrible deep-state induced weather… we’re not going to be road warriors anymore.
Charges filed against employer would be a nice headline as well.
