It never was peaceful in the first place if they had signs cursing ICE with vulgar language, or were yelling death threats at federal officers. The fact they were blocking their facility on the roads outside deliberately, it speaks enough about their actions.
They obviously had the intentions to harm ICE agents if they were in their cars trying to get into their own facility, these paid rioters wouldn't hesitate to surround them if they could do so without being stopped.
Which explains why they deployed officers outside to repel them away, this would have obviously happened if no officers were there to push them back.
Thus proving again, it's not even peaceful to begin with but a paid insurrection.

Americans have the right to protest, yes, but they do NOT have the right to impinge on other citizens' rights, including but not limited to going to their damned job and using PUBLIC streets for their intended use--aka, DRIVING on them. Public streets are not made for a bunch of asshats to stand around shouting vulgarities and stopping others from using them.
There are reasons there are permits for things that block off public streets--because concessions have to be made for those who would normally travel on them. And typically, streets are not blockaded off every damned day of the week for people with no jobs to cause trouble.
