A former leftist and now moderate asked me why conservatives never talk about global warming, climate change, plastic waste, and CO2 emissions. Why only the democrats care about nature etc?
About 18 years ago in high school, I was the 1st youth exposed to Al Gore's global warming documentary "Inconvenient Truth." As a young left leaning, Christian denying atheist in my teenage years, I drank the Kool Aid. I also remember how the U.S. was being blamed for all the plastics being littered in the world and how it was harming the ocean life. I even believed cow farts was causing global warming. I was such an idiot.
What I found out later was lots of global warming was B.S., the pictures they took were inaccurate. Even the pictures of the plastics we were being blamed for, were pictures taken from OTHER countries like China or India of their horrible handling of trash.. but WE were being blamed for it, and democrats were saying if we wanna save the planet, we better vote democrat!
What do you guys think? Can you expand more on these topics more? Can anyone provide more info for me to look into? And why does our side never talk about these issues?
Start shaming India and China. If you want real change. The mass of plastic that is dumped in the Ocean via India is shocking.
you got any research or sources I could look into? I remember looking at all the debunked global arming and plastics stuff 10 years ago, but I cant find it anymore. Because I moved onto bigger issues i havent studied this stuff in a long time. and google is just full of propaganda is i try to search
Try Google. Google tons of plastic waste dumped into Sea via India per annum
When the whole recycling your plastics was at its peak, China was buying it from the USA.. they don't buy it any longer (I think that's what I read) then again, it would lead to a good reason why China has such a huge "cheaply priced, cheaply made clothing" market that it sells to the rest of the world, most of that clothing is waste plastic... reminds me to mention, bad to be wearing.. chose natural linen.. cotton and wool.. much more healthy for ya heh. Just like food, some of those dyes used in China are toxic and can be absorbed into your body from that clothing specially, undergarments and face coverings.
China was paid to take a lot of plastic, and they just dumped it in the ocean. The currents took it out and it created the large patch in the pacific. I read that in an Asian newspaper years ago,and its now been scrubbed I guess.
India dumps an estimated 9.3 to 10.2 million tonnes of plastic per year, making it the world's largest contributor to plastic pollution. This figure represents plastic waste that ends up in the open environment, rather than in controlled landfills, and is a result of gaps in the country's waste management system. Total plastic waste: Approximately 9.3 million tonnes are dumped annually, with some estimates rising to 10.2 million tonnes. Global contribution: This amount accounts for nearly one-fifth of the global plastic waste that enters the environment each year. Contributing factors: The primary cause is uncollected and mismanaged waste, with the number of uncontrolled dumpsites significantly outnumbering sanitary landfills. Other impacts: An estimated 5.8 million tonnes of plastic are burned annually, releasing further pollution. thanks ill look into it. and do you have any info on plastics and car emissions?
https://theoceancleanup.com/

No.
plastic and so much human feces you can see it from orbit. India needs to be literally physically walled off and contained to stop the filth
When I was in high school in the 1970's they said an ice age was coming in 10 years. This was after the acid rain nonsense.
I was so afraid it was going to be so cold we would all die.
Then I started to think why were dinosaurs extinct? Global warming or was it the SUVs they drove.
Then I researched Maurice Strong who made up global warming.
Not one prediction came to fruition.
It is the biggest hoax ever and we don't need to play their games.
I totally forgot about the Ice Age lol. it wasnt my generation but I see the correlation of BS!!!!
The dinosaurs died from smoking cigarettes... everybody knows that
While riding in their SUVs.

The Day After Tomorrow is a 2004 American science fiction disaster film[2] co-written, co-produced, and directed by Roland Emmerich, based on the 1999 book The Coming Global Superstorm by Art Bell and Whitley Strieber, and starring Dennis Quaid, Jake Gyllenhaal, Sela Ward, Emmy Rossum, and Ian Holm. It depicts catastrophic climatic effects following the disruption of the North Atlantic Ocean circulation, in which a series of extreme weather events usher in climate change and lead to a new ice age.[3][4]
Still waiting.
Why does "our side" never talk about these issues? Because they are F&G.
Look into plastics recycling. That should tell you everything you need to know.
Rockefeller > big oil (pharma) > climate change > "recycle" > sell more
Even the liberal rags report on parts of this.

our side never really talks about it because we already know it's bullshit, but im asking here so we could digest the info to the moderates and normies?
I know. I'm just ranting. This is a topic that gets me going once in a while. The second link in above comment will give you some good, basic talking points.
Thanks ill look into it. by any chance do you also have any info debunking the whole car emissions and CO2 as well?
All I know about the CO2 is that they were fearmongering about "Holes in the ozone " because of it.. 20+years back now along with the whole Global warming.. or was it cooling.. bs fearmongering... heh
Those holes were caused by hairspray. Baltimore was responsible for most of the holes.
lol
That I do not. Not handy anyway.
The reason it exists is so they have a ton of hysterical articles on global warming that the globalists can piggyback their real messages on. Standard magic trick. Look at this fake dumpster fire here while I move the money and/or blackmail portfolio some place safer from prying eyes. Get the heat off so to speak. The truth is inconvenient, for them.
Same story. Class of 2010. It's all social engineering.
And there are tech solutions for waste disposal. Plastic-eating bacteria, hemp products...
Almost none of the left's 'green' efforts have been in good faith.
Yo we graduated the same year!!! that means we saw the inconvenient truth back in freshmen year or some shit
China doesn't recycle, they just burn it.
Google : India plastic bags / images - don't do it while you're eating, will tell you all you need to know.
Enough time has passed with the global warming hysteria that none of their doom and gloom predictions have come true. The question for the other person is why are you still buying into it?
China, India, Africa, and Philippines are the absolute worst at littering and destroying nature. It’s not even close. If you want real change, you need to change them.
Yeah, look at China's water/coast line.. totally destroyed, they have STRIPPED their coast line of nature, they have huge sections of dead coast, inlets because they literally stripped it for sand and such to use in concrete to keep up with their fake scam super infrastructure (building cities of empty skyscrapers) most of those skyscrapers were/are never used and just fall apart and have to be torn down again after a chunk of years. OH, and for all those stupid dams that have totally screwed up any natural flow of nature along all their rivers.. not even just ya know, strategic dams but, a ton of them for no reason but, to build them it seems. They dont seem to mind flooding their own citizens because of/use of those dams as well.. China often reminds me of those stories where you know, army ants that just destroy everything living around them as their colony grows larger and spreads out more and more...
Yet why do WE get blamed for lots of China and India's doing? makes no sense at all....
Search GAW using the term "global cooling" and you'll find lots of good info. Also search "polar bear" and "polar bears" and "polar ice".
Bottom line is the entire climate change topic is fake. In this posts you'll find comments with good links to break it down.
thanks ill look into it. do you have any info on plastics and car emissions?
No. Honestly I don't think those are partisan issues at all. Nobody likes pollution regardless of party. It becomes more about government mandates, and priorities of what government should be doing in the first place, and efficient ways to accomplish it, where Rs & DS have different philosophies.
I'd encourage you to counter with things like "why don't democrats talk about banning incandescent bulbs?" The reason is because most of them hate the mandates too, but it's not intrusive enough to care about.
I know, but the normies think "we dont care about it at all" because we dont talk about it as much. about 10 years ago a lot of the CO2 / car emissions was debunked but I forgot where I read it from. It basically stated our Earth was largely underestimated in how it processes CO2s, and that our planet's very efficient at handling CO2's way more than we thought, and it was being politicized. Something about how all the cars in the world couldnt ever come remotely close to destroying the Earth's natural air supply. I wish I saved those sources but I cant find it anymore
I heard that 1 volcano emits more co2 than all mankind ever produced. And we have several active volcanoes right now !
Many moons ago, I majored in environmental studies at a liberal arts college and dabbled in radical environmental activism. While my degree is basically worthless, I did personally benefit from learning about ecology, biology, botany and mycology.
Some food for thought: Climate change is not based in science, and its adherents suffer from a religious type orthodoxy. From global cooling in the 70's to the hole in the ozone layer, to global warming, none of these doomsday predictions have come to pass. Now they just call it "muh climate change" and what does that really mean? Of course the climate is always changing, so any kind of "abnormal" weather viewed from our very limited human perspective can be blamed on the boogeyman of climate change and used to instill fear in the populace, especially younger people.
A couple of talking points for normies and/or lefties: Where i live, the weather forecast can never be accurately predicted more than a few days out. Just recently i read about the crazy storms that were supposed to lash the mid-Atlantic region that never happened. Being a weather forecaster is the only profession where you can be consistently wrong and still keep your job. So if we cannot accurately predict what the weather will be next week or next month, how accurate are the climate predictions of hundreds of years down the line? Ask an environmentalist what the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is. I have never had anyone answer this question correctly, including dozens of my college friends with similar degrees. The answer is 0.4%. The lowest amount of CO2 that you can have in the atmosphere that supports plant life is 0.3%. So CO2 levels are actually very low, contrary to what we have been told by the "experts."
Ultimately i think the climate change narrative is a limited hangout meant to distract us from real environmental concerns that we the people could actually have a positive impact on, like pollution in our waterways for example.
The alarmism about climate is all based on models that predict the future. First of all, the models have massive flaws. But most importantly, all of the models have proven to be wrong with their predictions. Next: we need more CO2, not less. More green, more food and more Oxygen for the people and animals to keep them healthy. Next: Methane is a climate stabilizing gas and a lot of it comes from the Chinese rice fields.
We bury or recycle most of our plastics. Work still needs to be done to fix some of the side effects of certain plastics. Other countries send them to the ocean. There is an area in the Pacific Ocean where a lot of them collect. We are finally starting to clean that area up. But we should charge the other countries for the cleanup.
Democrats are the reason we have a lot of nasty chemicals and metals in our water and food chain. MAHA is the path to better health for all.
Only the left cares about nature? Really? So explain why they can't define a woman. In nature there are 2 genders male and female but the left keeps trying to change that. In nature it's survival of the fittest, not the weirdest or weakest. Nature doesn't push DEI only merit. Nature doesn't believe in killing healthy fetuses. Nature needs CO2 for plants and trees to grow. Nature doesn't try to ban what it needs to survive. The left needs to manufacture "man-made" disasters in order to extract money from the pearl clutching public so they can enrich themselves. Obama was so concerned about the polar ice caps melting and rising sea levels that he bought ocean front property on Martha's Vineyard. Al Gore's many houses and massive fuel burning jet released tons of CO2 emissions that he railed about every chance he got. But somehow his rantings never applied to him. He turned climate change into a big source of personal wealth. Interesting how that happens with the left. Crisis after crisis becomes a source of wealth for them. Their motto is never let a crisis go to waste.
You are right, don't even second guess yourself. I would have just said that climate change is a distraction from the actual toxic waste situations we have - often for green products, like lithium batteries etc. It's a deception to avoid caring about the environment really - CO2 obsession "sucks the oxygen out of the room" for everything else! Everyone on the right also (for real) cares about the environment but not the fraudulent solutions offered, which are just there to covertly control and prevent. It's a tangle that takes years of self learning, so don't expect more than they put into understanding it.
lower 30yr old, my guess you are 27-35, I was getting yelled at by teachers and students for pointing out the political and false facts being presented as "settled science" in science class (great teaching let me tell you). Most people who had access to the internet at home were the first to call it out at school is my thoughts on that age group and where technology was at the time. Mind you this is 2005-06 so you had to know how to navigate with and without google. About the same time some of us ran into Infowars
we're definitely the younger side of the millenials. man, do you remember how hard it was to show people what we knew back then? EVERYBODY would laugh. we had good times back then, but everybody was in an hypnotically asleep / unaware
Let me start off with why I dont talk about these issues:
Is there a problem with destroying the environment we live in? Yes.
Is it because of too much CO2 emissions? No
Is there a manmade global warming? No
Are there too many plastics in our daily use ? Yes
Is there too much waste in our daily use ? Yes
What is the real reason for this ? We live in a fractional reserve system, which is a Ponzi scheme and by definition needs to keep extracting every ounce of real value out of the world just to keep itself afloat. This is much much deeper topic but I am happy to expand on how the fractional reserve system leads to decay in the society, leading to destruction of anything of value - including our environment, and why it floods the market with disposable junk. This whole concept is explained very well in this book you can download. You will understand why fractional reserve system is essentially a financial slavery system.
So the real problem I do want to talk about is NOT global warming or CO2, but how they are being used to blame the fact that we live in a financial slavery system
Why am I so confident that CO2 does not cause global warming?
After asking the question you gotta let them think about it. Dont let them say "I dont know, you tell me". Ask them to take a guess. A wild guess? If they refuse to reply, prompt them "You think 5%? Or maybe 10%? Or do tou think its much lower than that? Like 1%?"
Let the question ferment in their head for a bit, and in my experience even Science students dont always know the answer to this question.
The importance of this question is to make them realise that higher the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, higher its potential impact on the temperature of the whole world.
So whats the answer? Make sure you give this answer as dramatically as possible:
ZERO POINT ZERO FOUR PERCENT. Thats right. CO2 makes up 0.0425 % of the atmosphere. And, even if we agree that it has been increasing since they started "measuring" it (we will come to it later) it was supposedly 0.0315 % in 1959.
So, we are to believe that something that supposedly increased 0.00017 % in the atmosphere every year has caused so much heating that there is "global warming" ?
Thats 0.35 % increase of something that is only 0.03% in the atmosphere, over 60 years thats supposedly caused multiple degrees of temperature increase.
Let that sink in. If the person is acting in good faith, a moderate or simply curious, this fact will really rattle them.
Give an example: Take a bucket with 10000 white balls in the son and measure its temperature. Take another ball - a black ball that absorbs heat, and throw it into the bucket. How much "hotter" the whole bucket would become, do you reckon?
When you understand the magnitude of utterly gibberish, fake, false information we are made to believe, you will slowly understand the nefariousness of this "global warming" crap.
right?
We would all think that to be the case. But the shocking answer iS NO.
There is NOT ONE EXPERIMENT that shows that 0.01% increase in CO2 will raise the temperature by even one degree C.
EVERY single "proof" they have are based on "mathematical modelling", which, if you remember Covid times, tells us how well these models work. In reality, its nothing but a tool of deception.
If you cannot prove a hypothesis with a repeatable, observable experiment, you cannot claim it is true.
"C'mon BB you are lying to me. They have this experiment they do in the school all the time. Look, this smart black lady does it right here on YouTube"
I like this video actually because it shows how deceptive these people are. She starts off saying "CO2 is a vital part of the atmosphere, and the problem happens when there is too much of it" and then she proceeds to do the experiment.
(Remember that the too much she is referring to is 0.01% increase in CO2)
She puts a spoonful of soda and adds a spoonful of vinegar and what she is doing is flooding the experiment with CO2. She is not increasing CO2 by 0,01% but by something like 5000%.
Here are the actual calculations
In a real experiment, you will add 25 micrograms of acetic acid and 35 micrograms of bicarb soda and if you can show me that it raises the temparature by even 1 degree C, then yeah, sure, I will agree that CO2 might becausing global warming.
How do we even measure this change in CO2 that we are so confident is increasing? Answer - one observatory in Maui. One observatory in Colorado. Most of the calculations we see in science is based on the numbers from NOAA ESRL which is collected from one single place in the entire planet.
Why did they abandon the term "Global Warming" and switch to "Climate Change" ? Because none of the predictions they made due to the global warming came to pass. So they changed the deception by making it something that cannot be welldefined - "Climate Change"
I can go on and on. But CO2 and Global Warming IS NOT what we should be talking about. We should be talking about the deliberate forced destruction of the earth, by this slavery financial system, that forces its slaves - us humans - to destroy our own environment, and then blames it on things like CO2 and uses it to control us even tighter.
Yes, Carbon tax was supposed to be the replacement financial system to the existing "Petro dollar" that was used to control the world for almost 4 decades.
Wow what an amazing reply! This is exactly the type of answer I was looking for. If I may ask, were you previously a scholar of this sort? You seem to know a lot!
I have been a "science guy" all my life and a software engineer by profession, doing coding for 35 years. I was a "default lefty" without even thinking about it until I found Q. For years I thought Science was complex and specialised and only experts could understand what was happening etc.
When the Plandemic hit and vaccines were being rolled out, I decided to dig into the Pfizer Clinical Study that was used for the EUA. It was a HUGE eye opener for me. After cutting through all the mumbo jumbo, it became obvious that what it was really saying is that the Vaccines were neither necessary, nor effective nor proven safe.
Thats when I realised that the crux of science is just common sense and anyone can understand any scientific literature if you cut through all the intentional garbage meant to throw people off the truth and to peddle lies.
I have been applying that to everything I come across and while it takes a lot of effort, in the end you become wiser to the truth. For instance, this whole thing about global warming, I sharpened my knives, so to speak by arguing with scientists onTwitter. I used them as my research assistants by goading them into disproving me, and in the process come up with the best arguments against what I was saying, and honestly I expected some really powerful cut and dry research that would prove me wrong. Instead all I got was more and more math models, and faulty experiments.
In the process of arguing with Lefties (originally just trolling them), I ended up with very sharp and powerful points in this debate.
hahah what a badass! so basically your background and expertise you were able to essentially troll AND academically debate them. then you came to the quick realization that all they could provide was emotionally charged rage with faulty math models and fault experiments. man, I wish you could write a whole story segment on it. as for me, im not a scientist but i leaned heavily into common sense. the america's frontline doctor's back in 2020 and getting banned everywhere and having their medical licenses spoke something to me. I met doctor simone gold and i also met judy mikovitz, which helped me understand a lot more. judy mikovitz basically used to work with Fauci and she called him out in the 80s or 90s and he stole her research and fired her for speaking out against him
Wow, that must have been an amazing experience. There were a few moments through the Plandemic when I felt at peace and fearless. One of them was when the Frontline Doctors gave their highly viewed speech in front of the Capitol. In a real world, that would have been enough to kill the Plandemic, and I have always admired Simone Gold since that day.
I usually ask if they prefer kool-aid, and something like those are conspiracy theory that did not get proven true
Because it's all manipulated lies. Plenty of real science out there that proves it, not paid for paper pusherswriting what they are told
China is the biggest polluter on the planet. But yet no one calls them out for it. In addition, they are exporting their environmental damage globally through Belt and Road. Why don't these enviro activists set their sites on the real offenders instead of trying to destroy Western economies?
