Sather was accused of being a paytriot by the very scumbags that he regularly exposed who were all part of the grifter networks that were making the rounds a few years back. He took a lot of heat for calling that whole crew out, and in many cases, he had the receipts.
Unfortunately, too many people have the attention span of a flea and don't look any further than what's in a headline or video title. I watched Sather for a few years and saw the constant fight against the attacks from well organized and funded operations. He wanted people to not take things at face value simply from the fact that someone is using the verbiage that aligns with a particular bias - especially Q and the UFO disclosure community. Do your own homework. Some of these people that he called out I researched on my own and I had to conclude that Sather was correct. The lesson: be careful of who you follow. They may not be as they first appear.

Yes, I have to agree that he could seem a little scattered at times. But in his defense, many others were doing the same thing - trying to connect dots. We were all trying to make some sense out of what was happening at the time and it didn't help that certain forces were trying to shut down the flow of information - especially on social media. I still have a bookmark list of all the twitter accounts that were axed within just a few days. We were under attack.
He never gave me the impression of dishonesty about what he thought - it was his opinion. I also don't remember him trying to grift "Patriot" merch, books, etc. He did sell some supplements that were for other companies and products he used himself. But that was about it. We all have to make a living. He was viewer supported and it took some time before he could become monetized in some form. The censorship was horrible. Creating content can be a full time job in itself.
I don't agree with Jordan on everything but over the years I've not seen him shilling a book full of "secret info" and other stuff that the Charlie Ward types do like pushing people into a member's only subscription channel. He does have a supplement business but that stuff isn't even Q-themed or such so I don't see how he'd qualify as a paytriot.
He was tagged with that label because he was exposing all the Charlie Ward and Simon Parks grifter types. They were well organized and funded. Sather was on his own. Like you, I didn't always agree with him. But not having the same opinion about a particular topic is a far cry from the grifting and disinformation the others were spreading. I always found him to be honest and I can respect that. I appreciated the light that he was trying to bring to the entire patriot movement at the time regarding some of the influencers that entered to make money if not outright disseminate false information. It really was kind of like the wild west on the internet in those days.
A big tell for me was when the crackdown happened in 2019 and 2020, and many good accounts on various platforms were suspended and disappeared. The grifters seemed to be for the most part, left unaffected. After a little time passed it started to become really obvious the difference between those who was censored and those who were not. Then some of the grifters ended up being taken down to try and make it not so obvious. But it didn't take long for them to reappear somewhere else while the rest of us were left scrambling.
Yeah I remember him talking about limited hangouts quite a few times as well as a few other of Badlands guys, generally putting it as "if someone hasn't been censored from YouTube at least once by now either they're part of the grift or they're not saying anything that the machine considers to be dangerous."
I remember the limited hangouts as well. He had a point. I also noticed it. That whole grifter crew were still operating for some time after the rest of us were struggling to find platforms to get information out. It seemed obvious to me by who ended up having targets on their back.
It's too bad that far too many bought in to the slander spread about him and that is what they remember.
2018 was a long time ago fren and i have slept since then. my memories of him are vague and his name is attached to paytriot in those vague memories but i could not tell you what exactly it was that made me feel that way about him. i wish i could remember exactly but old.
