Btw, it is my understanding, as I had read elsewhere, that all kids under 18 are eligible but only 2025-28 get the $1000 seed money from the government.
Parental funding with a tax benefit I imagine in a nod to the Financial advisor employment act... Some company opening a big Management office in Ted's District probably...
That would require every family to have at last 1000 kids.
No this is a good way to encourage population growth locally.
Btw, if Trump didn't line up new economic investments and cutting off the British controls, i would be worried too. But this is a controls demolition. No good exit for the evil
AND WE CAN FINALLY SAY TO THE BRITICH CHAINS that have ENSLAVED this Nation since it's founding------SEE YA' AND DO LET THE DOOR HITA' WHERE THE GOOD LORD SPLIT YA'!!!!!!!
"BRITICH" that way ... (spellings do matter....π€£π€£π€£π€£ππππ)
I think that it will have a positive impact on the number of children born to the middle class. And if they let it ride to retirement, they will be in great shape.
Is this not a payday for universities? Will this not be sucked up by "academia" for them to continue to indoctrinate our children? How about the money can only be used for trade schools?
Since its your money it should be used for either university or trade schools. But its smarter in 2025-2030 to do a trade that is difficult to outsource using a robot and the gov also already has apprenticeships that help with this. Trades are cheaper too. I'm retired but thinking of going to a local trade school and learning every trade, just to handyman my own house and property. Also want to learn welding for the shit of it, and metal art.
It's like 50-100 dollars a class for like a 3 class trade--beginner intermediate advanced; versus about 5000-10,000 PER SEMESTER at college not counting all the other expenses. So like 500 dollars for materials and class to learn a thing, versus like 40k+
I work for a construction firm that has a metal shop. We had a local school reach out. My understanding is they are teaching some things but don't have access to "the full operation". They are coming in for a field trip this week and will get to see the work in action as well as a chance to try things out. We are kind of excited.
a reminder that natalism is a tool used by both sides. I would prefer the government stay completely out of family planning and reproduction.
Child tax credits are basically UBI for anyone with more than two kids. And of course THEY want you divided so perfectly good normal people will hate and be angry at the welfare class..even though essentially it's all the government dole
This. I inherited a home from my parents. It's literally a cheat code. I truly don't need to work. Utilities and food cost me the same as what just a rent or a mortgage would cost. I feel incredibly guilty taking a full time job because I know likely the person doing it in my place actually needs it. And in spite of it being an ugly old home, it's worth four times as much as when they bought it and it keeps climbing. If this Trump fund money could be used towards a first home instead that would guarantee financial independece whether one ends up in a trade, white collar or pursuing a passion project. 30 year mortgages are why they have most Americans enslaved and in debt
Mind you It is still a question of the individual. My wife and I are both super frugal and super conservative. The average normie who demands a brand new car every three years and needs to keep up with the Jones and travel internationally twice a year...there's no saving them. But if you know how to exercise restraint and you know how to manage finances not paying rent or a mortgage is literally a game changer
Doesnβt square with a Trumpβs comments about eliminating income taxes. If that happens, IRAβs should not be taxed, what would be the incentive to put money into them? Sounds like the Savings Bond scam. You buy a $100 savings bond for $50. 15 years later you redeem it for $100 but need to pay tax on the $50 interest. No income tax is a con if government can tax interest, dividends, capital gains, real estate and everything you purchase.
Well, unless it is only for children of US Citizens and not permanent residents, it will just be another money give away that will benefit the 3rd worlders who breed like rats.
clean up a voter rules removal of non-citizens over the coming years should clean up California & other highly invaded States, Michigan, Minnesota, and Texas, so this should be a good program!
Once and if this thing takes off, Trump should offer a supplemental grant program to THIS program, that matches contributions that children between 14-18 make by working, and that's to encourage and incentivize children to learn to work at that time.
I worked from 14 (earliest SC allowed it) and made under the minimum wage which was like 5 dollars or something. Laughable now, but I also made 20 a pop mowing neighbor lawns which was like solid gold back then and funded all these video games I had then.
I'm proposing instead of that 20 going to buy 'tendo shit, it goes to the Trump piggy bank and US gov matches the amount.
So in the future, a hypothetical 14 yr old me gets to choose between putting the switch 5 or playstation 11 on klarna layaway, or instead putting that amount away for launching a landscaping business in my 20s
Backdate them sums-of-muh-bitchez and let me get three of 'em!

Ya sounding like a Democrat! Kek
I'm concerned that this is just a bunch of taxpayer funded money to pump into the stock market to provide exit liquidity for the 1%
That would require every family to have at last 1000 kids.

Anchor babies won't be eligible right? They are sadly by technicality US citizens
Birthright citizenship case before the Supremes this month (I think?)
Are the Trump Accounts maybe designed to put eyes on this, and perhaps push other lawsuits to the top if needed?
I think that it will have a positive impact on the number of children born to the middle class. And if they let it ride to retirement, they will be in great shape.
Family court system needs fixing first, THATS why marriage and births are down.
Men are being FUCKED by divorces, alimony and child support.
Until then, I will happily stay child free and single.
Agreed!
Another government handout. Bet it's our money. I have my own kids, I don't need to support anyone elses.
it's only a start-up fund, not a never ending drip feed
Is this not a payday for universities? Will this not be sucked up by "academia" for them to continue to indoctrinate our children? How about the money can only be used for trade schools?
Funds can also be used towards a down payment on a house, or to start a business.

ETF'S, so the vast majority of it is going right to blackrock, google, meta, and every other Stein and Berg who hates us.
And if that collapses, the hedgies got paid up front and you're left with the bag.
precursor to sovereign wealth fund dividends
Pretty sure sovereign wealth funds are coming, i agree. Anyone that hears the ads on AM radio knows this for at least two years now.
SHITO
THOSE KIDS OF ILLEGALS
SMH
Yeah ... Need a self-directed option... Stick it in real estate.
Also convert Soc Sec contributions over time into account to convert SS to private funded retirement plan. 15% a year adds up.

Might be good for foster care kids

I believe it will be!
Sounds like Michael Dell dumped more than six Billion into the program...

Reparations for supplying computers with Micro shaft Virus scams I imagine...

Good thought! Although I don't know if there would be anything as motivating today as The Adventure of Link...
