TLDR: I am not aware of any member in good standing, in the church that you claim, that takes on multiple women as religious wives & then has them call on state child support. There are claims I have heard some break off groups have done it, but i can't find anyone willing to give specifics of which break off groups do defraud the system this way. Also it doesn't seem productive to attack the religion of the guy who exposed the fraud instead of sharing the truth of the fraud, maybe I am wrong about that.

I live among them & I absolutely believe that Christ visited other flocks (orthodox Russian church claims he visited them & I personally accept native Americans oral traditions of a great bearded prophet that hits many of the same themes of Jesus right around the time after his crucifixion.

Though by that logic, any man who remarries should be considered a polygamist regardless of their flavor of Christianity.or other religions.
Now I have worked with many individuals that are not part of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but are part of a myriad of sects that claim they are the chosen group that carries on with Polygamy. Ultimately I don't see this any different than the many sects of Christianity that claim they are the church hmthat understands the gospel taught by our savior correctly.
Within those groups there are some groups that seems to believe in using the welfare system like the Somalis do, but I have never met an individual who does it or claims their specific sect would support it. I will not affiliate with false doctrine. The Mormons worship a different god than I do. They do not believe in the Trinity. They get their doctrine not from the Bible. The book of Revelation makes it quite clear.

I had never considered that the same angel could have revealed the books of Islam, I had always thought those were written by Mohammad. I should look deeper into this. That said, the Angel Moroni claimed to have hidden the records of his people. I don't know what angel visited Mohammad (or any) or if there was one, what that angel claimed.
It is pretty clear to me that some things have been removed. Satan clearly wants to confuse those who want to do their best to follow God.
