You forgot that Congress makes up the rules that they have to comply with. That is the reason insider trading is essentially legal for them. They also passed a law to prevent FBI from conducting sting operations against them. They are just one big pack of low-life criminals. I bet only 10% of them are decent and honest people.

I think they can use it to pay any travel costs associated with campaigning, and probably only marginally related to campaigning. So all they have to do is CLAIM some trip is "campaigning", and then have first class air travel and four star lodging along with gourmet meals for wherever they go. They can claim things like, "I met with X representative of Y corporation about contributing to my campaign and to discuss Y corporations potential business in our state" while in Hawaii.
Didn't he play a pretty major role in the Saudi Prince assassination attempt in Vegas, where they shot up the outdoor concert as a distraction? I'd like to see his ass dragged into court over that.
