Actually, Grassley is pretty spry for an old guy. I wouldn’t wish an assisted living facility on most older folks (a few dems that have screwed us over would be ok). You have no rights and no privacy and I’ve seen some pretty horrendous stuff. I do think he should retire from office and enjoy his farm.
It's a HARD game to follow, I know the feeling some times, but in a bigger picture just like the Word of God it accomplishes that for which it was sent. Ask Judas 🤪👍
He picks them, you just have to understand why...it makes you wiser if you can figure it out. Your sir would be AHEAD of the CURVE if you can figure out WHY
1958 was a pivotal year marked by Cold War advancements like NASA's creation
Well well well....looks like Spaceship stuff. Moon project? Time Travel? Tic-Tac?
He has lots of security people follow him...Q says more than NORMAL...WHY?
This is completely in-line with a traditional republican view. I can't say I disagree in this respect - I'm not in his head, but requiring voter ID mandated by the federal gov. should only be applied to federal elections (president/vice-president). Yes we here all know the Democrats lie cheat and steal their way to victory, but it really is a state matter for state elections. That being said I do think this is a perfect case to impose federal pressure to a state controlled matter. Simply a "if you don't mandate voter ID then you don't get x,y,z funding"... force the states to mandate this themselves. There is a context here that he's looking at this in and I I think I'm seeing it... mostly. Why this is even a question is fricken garbage though... if any political party fights against voter ID then they are cheaters - but this should indeed be at the state level.
He's backing state sovereignty. I agree but the issue is there are too many compromised state govt and election systems now. If the fed govt doesn't force a clean up, state govts will never actually reflect the true will of their people. Its a dilemma.
But if the states continuously fail to secure their elections... And by the way, being forced to show id should be a fucking prerequisite -then I do believe the fed has the right to take over security.
100%, preserving states rights is super important. The dem states are broke af and need federal money to survive. Using that leverage to “encourage” their participation is the path.
Dont believe everything u read on the internet Im not opposed 2 SAVE Act In fact Ive been fighting alongside Iowa Scty of State Pate 2hold Biden admin accountable for their hiding immigration/citizenship voter data in 2024 election ELECTIONS MUST B SECURE W ONLY CITIZENS VOTING
Term limits and age limits might be a good consideration. Term limits to keep folks out of office who want to be there for decades. Age limits because generations change in their collective thinking and old warhorses don't have the capacity to understand those new ideas which pop up from generation to generation. For instance an old politician might understand 8 track audio tapes but might not know how to make a phone call on a IPhone.
I do agree with term limits, but on the other side of the argument is the fact that they keep getting reelected. The general population just doesn't care and doesn't understand the roll of these people, or their influence, or even what they actually do. The new generations need an education in civics. The youngest and a lot of gen z are figuring it out though, via social media. I'm sure I'll catch shit for saying it but that's how I see it with the people I know and talk to.
Politicians are like reptiles. A reptile works more on instinct than intellect, so if you become too comfortable handling one eventually you become complacent and find that it will eventually strike out at you, seemingly out of nowhere. But if you know which signs to look for, you can protect yourself from attack.
90 fucking 2. He should be in an assisted living facility wondering if lunch will include Jello or pudding.

The entire Congress is 💩
... but he is.
I do believe everyone Q said to trust has turned out to be a traitor!

This is where he draws the line with federal intervention into state responsibilities?
Dumbass.
Remain calm frens. I think this falls into the category of: Drama, Drama, Trump Wins!
I’m 55, this dudes been in office since I was in grade school. I don’t trust him either.

"disinfo is necessary"
Maybe 'Trust Grassley' means 'Trust that Grassley is doing what we are telling him to do no matter how asinine it appears'?
Could be! Otherwise there’d be no reason to be TOLD to trust him.
I've always suspected him as being a sellout.
Disinformation is necessary?
Trust him to F-up………maybe. Or could be an act for drama.
He does wear one of those funny g-mail aprons…..
Time for him to get out of Congress.
I don’t trust any politician. Especially ones that been in office for decades.
Way past time to retire his sorry ass!
Outlived his usefulness as a senator, time for young blood.
But we still Trust Bongino?

Opposes voter id.
Dominion voting machines
Yep.
He's lost it. Since when has ensuring only citizens of the U.S. are voting become "interfering" in an election?
I see his point. I dislike it, because there are too many compromised state govt, but he is actually defending state sovereignty.

Actually politicians are like diapers in that they need to be changed.
Often times for the same reason. 💩
Any other country has voter ID.
I can't stand these people.
